I like this for the simple fact that it does not require electric or battery to operate. It's quick and easy to make your own soda, sparkling water. You can also use this to add frizzante to juices or even white wine.

thanks for sharing this. If you don’t mind my asking, I’m curious to know more details on the “saving lots of money” point you mentioned. How’d you get to that conclusion? Do you mean generally speaking or did u actually crunch the numbers? How much were you spending on soda prior to this purchase and how much have you actually saved post purchase? Are you a daily soda drinker or do you just drink occasionally? Are you the only one who drinks from it? If not then how often is it being used like per day/month? Has it replaced store bought soda/drinks or do you still buy them? I ask with genuine respect and curiosity because I love the concept but I am unsure of its practicality. it seems the co2 canister is quite small and I assume they don’t last very long.. so you’re probably buying refills or something? Surely if you are a daily drinker you would be buying refills quite often then? And even moreso with multiple drinkers? And I assume they are not readily available at your local shops so you need to go to some specialty shop or order it online? So you need to plan ahead /cant spontaneously grab a drink if you’re out of co2 Over time, aren’t you spending the same or more money as you were before and certainly more energy in order to keep using this device? On the co2 cartridges, the syrups or flavorings you prefer, the manual labor needed, even the precious counter space it’ll take… All that considered, would you still say that it is worth the investment?

Curiosity killed the cat, as they say but since you asked... First the Ultima Cosa soda maker is 1/4 to 1/2 the cost of some other name brand soda makers so you're saving big money right off the bat. Let's say a liter of soda water is about $1.00. A canister of CO2 will cost around $20 with exchange and will produce about 60 liters of carbonated water. You can do the math there but here's a hint, you'll save a lot of money. But you can save even more money if you have your spent cartridge refilled locally and you can save even more money than that by purchasing your own larger CO2 tank and having that refilled locally then use your larger tank to refill your smaller cartridge. A 20lb tank might cost around $20-25 to fill and that could refill your smaller cartridge at least 18-20 times. HUGE savings. Shall I go on or is that enough for you?
