Santa Cruz Red Dot 41 inch drop through Longboard Skateboard review video.
I picked up this complete Santa Cruz 41 inch "Red Dot" drop through longboard. Everything is stock but I did swap out the bearings to Swiss. Bearings makes a HUGE difference to the stock ones. This board has a 7 ply fiberglass design that makes it strong and lighter than the other boards that they make for only $20 more. I love carving down hills on this board and last night my wife clocked me at 35 mph and it did not fast. On a short board at 35 mph it could buck me off... In this video I also have a skateboarding session too so you can see the carving...
My first skateboard was a Santa Cruz Christian Hosoi Hammer that I got back in 1985... So, my first longboard is a Santa Cruz too... I'm stoked!

Have the same one got super reds bearings fast AF lol gonna get some red wheels probably soft ones not sure which ones yet. Longboarding is so much fun lol

How are you liking your floral decay drop through? I have one myself.. I currently have some shark wheels on it with some bones red bearings and I also added some strips of real grip tape on each side of it, it's a solid board though and once it breaks in it is amazing because at first I hated it and now that it's broken in I can't imagine the day that it breaks lol

How much do Swiss bearings cost? What other bearings would you recommend to add on to this board? I got this board for my birthday, and I don’t know much about bearings, grip tape and other stuff. I’ve had this board for about a year now and the bearings are starting to slow down, I don’t know how to clean bearings or the grip tape. And I’m looking for bearings that spin smoothly with a consistent speed for a long time.

Swiss Bones Bearing make a HUGE difference. It’s like night and day… They are going to run you $60 for the regular ones and $140 for the ceramic ones. Honestly the regular ones are good but the ceramic are next level

That is a slalom board. Just because it’s 41 inches long does it make it a functional longboard it’s not good for a damn thing but riding.

I've got two different Z-Flex longboards. Although the same brand, they have a different feel. I haven't tried a Santa Cruz longboard or skateboard yet.
