frrr!! two things that penthouse and Vincenzo taught me is: (1) every other kdrama has RU-vid length episodes compared to these two and (2) I can predict all the plot twists in other dramas

The male lead of this drama, 'Song Joong-ki', was once married to the actress who played Moon Dong-eun in the drama 'The Glory'. They got divorced after about 1 year and 8 months of marriage. 'Song Joong-ki' remarried a British actress. Currently, his wife is pregnant. His movies and dramas have always been successful in Korea and he is one of the top South Korean actors.

I'm glad you guys are covering this. My dad, who isn't big on Kdramas, sat down with me and watched every single second. That man could only name Tony Stark and he watched all the MCU movies, but he knew everyone by their names in this show. Yeah, each one's a movie and it can drag a bit, but it's worth experiencing... But my man, you've never seen John Wick?

This show checked ALL the boxes for me - suspense, drama, comedy, mystery, quirky silliness that Kdramas do so well, great character development, and captivating story line. Each episode has you on the edge of your seat one minute, and laughing so hard the next. It only gets better from here - Enjoy the rest of the episodes!!!

Kdrama pattern: if a show gets 20 episodes, it means it had really good ratings and got extended. Normal is 16 episodes. If it has 12 or less episodes, either, it was a special/ott/web release like A business proposal or netflix originals but most of the time, they had low ratings and got reduced.

One of the best kdramas. It gets better and better with a solid ending. Most other kdramas started strong but flop on the ending (such as Biz Proposal). Imma rewatch this with you guys.

The scene where he got his things stolen is more like just for comedic purposes, like he's feared in Italy because that's where he spent most of his life, on the other hand he's not familiar with South Korea reason why they were able to trick him. Also worth mentioning is that the 2 actors who stole from him are his friends, they made a cameo using that scene.

I'd love to see you guys reacting to "juvenile justice" and "king of pigs". Juvenile justice is about South korean juvenile court, it follows the judges and the cases they deal with. In juvenile court the judges are more connected to the defendants and plaintiffs and conduct their own research and investigations so it's a different type of situation from regular court. It's very heavy and deals with disturbing issues but is one of my favorite dramas I've ever seen. King of pigs follows 2 grown up victims of bullying, one became a detective and the other a serial killer and we slowly find out what happened in their lives while they try to catch each other. I think you would enjoy both of these. Love your reactions!

fun fact, the scenes in italy was mostly if not all green screen because it was during covid when this was filmed. they couldn't fly over to get the shots

I'm not a patreon user and I know it might kinda risky to posted your reaction here but still I would recommend you guys to watch The Uncanny Counter. It's a light drama full of action and fantasy I think, with some familiar face from Business Proposal, Alchemy of Souls, and The Glory. TBH, this one is just okay. It's more funny than anything else. The opening bit in Italy is pretty excruciating, but it gets better. I'd recommend Crash Landing on You and Guardian: the Great and Lonely God.

I finished it, but I definitely think that the show's overrated. The show takes a lot of detours in favor of comedy. If they had reduced the comedy by 90%, they prolly could turned the show into a 10-12 ep season with a lot tighter storytelling.
