I read it last month and loved it too! It’s cemented Hill as a favorite author. If you’re ever up for another huge (even huger) book,, I went straight from that to Sun House, by David James Duncan. So interesting reading them back to back, because the tone is so similar, this is just as funny, has a large cast of characters you follow from youth to adulthood who are so well developed. (The first two we meet are a boy whose mom died on his death day, and to spite the universe he wreaks havoc every year on that one day…and a girl who becomes obsessed with Sanskrit and Vedic teachings. I’m enjoying it so much! (The audiobook is 35 hours, lol, but I’m actually happy I’ll be in this world so long.)

I am so glad I ordered this from Book of the Month for November. It will arrive today and I can't wait to start reading! I need to stop judging books by their covers, that's why I passed on this one earlier. After listening to your review, this is exactly my kind of book-Thanks!
