I think my filter is not working properly I just bought the thing today and put water through it and the tester reads 80 ppm it was about 300 before filtering so it's definitely better

I've been meaning to get a zerowater filter for awhile. Even though the water where I live is pretty clean, I've never liked the taste of water coming out the tap.

Question: do you end up with distilled water? I tried one of these Zero pitchers more than five years ago and I did not like the taste. It was acidic tasting. Does it filter out fluoride? I wonder how my Keurig coffee machine would do with this.

Yes it filters out fluoride. I think it might taste acidic because the pH is lowered after filtration.

@@minkymandy6065 thank you. Yeah, I don’t like my water tasting acidic and that’s why we did not enjoy the Zero water. We’ll just stick to our bottled spring water since in our area the tap water contains very high levels of pesticides.
