Dear MarcoPrimeau, Thank you for your unique and wonderful explanation of Samplitude. I have two questions: First, how can I create a macro to execute multiple commands that I can benefit from during the editing phase, as it is available in Studio One and others? Also, how can I link Samplitude with another program, like Revoice for alignment, or with RX 11 to process the audio and then automatically return it to Samplitude after processing, similar to how it works in Pro Tools? Thank you very much.❤❤❤
Hi, To my knowledge, there isn't any macro feature with Samplitude. but you can save templates for when starting a project or save effect bins. Also, you can create keyboard shortcuts for most of the fonctions. Samplitude uses ARA2 to sync external software, Melodyne is one of the compatible one. I honestly didn't try the RX standalone software but every effect of RX can be put directly on a track as a plugin. As of today, Revoice haven't made there software compatible with Samplitude. Hopefully they will eventually.
The latency of Samplitude is very low. Your results will depend more on how many realtime plugins and instruments you load in a project and your midi and audio interface. Samplitude will adjust the latency compensation dynamicly, meaning, if you only have one realtime instrument, there isn,t any perceivable latency but the more you add some instrument, at some point you will hear it.. Trick to use is to freeze tracks you already recorded via midi. So the latency gets back down.
