The Wolverine is underrated. It doesn't help that his first solo movie was shit and it's in between two solid movies, First Class and Days of Future Past.
For the question about the claws and even kitty’s powers: it’s cuz mutants can just have multiple powers/mutations. Not all do but many do. That’s about it. Regeneration keeps his claws from killing him through blood loss I also thought Rice nerfed the clone’s healing factor as some contingency plan cuz the clone gets incapacitated by a vehicle and a shotgun but doesn’t heal until daytime and still needs a serum that enhances his mutations. So I guess an adamantium bullet would do the job while younger Logan would be able to walk it off. Still don’t think a bullet should be able to kill someone with a healing factor just cuz it’s made of a material that can go through their bones
