Really? I had the worst neck pain with this pillow. I really tried to love it. The pain went away after one week but then I never really got a deep sleep with the harmony pillow.
@@southpoleprincess there are 2 different sizes. try either. make sure your sleep posture is also correct. Only sleep on your back or side. If that doesn't work, try there other 2 pillows. You can get them really cheap on Ebay, like most things.
I sleep HOT ♨️. Coolness is main factor for me. Is the purple Harmony as cool sleeping as the purple original?(those are the only two that the website says sleep cool).
I’ll never forget when I bought a purple pillow( the middle one) off Amazon and they accidentally sent me 2 pillows in 2 different packages with 2 different order numbers! I used up a life time of luck that day and I’ve never recovered
I have it too, but it causes me severe neck pain in the mornings. It's too high for me. But I love how cool it stays. I wouldn't recommend it anyone who prefers a flatter/lower pillow or back sleepers.
I’ve been through all 3. Here’s my 2 cents as a back and side sleeper: Harmony: I’ve had this for about 3 weeks now. Bought both the 6.5” and 7.5”. I wanted to love this so bad lol, but it literally hurts my neck. Both sizes. Best way I can describe how it feels is like it’s slowly pushing into my neck and skull throughout the night. That talallay latex is not for me. Too springy, no support, just slight resistance. The “Purple Hex Grid Technology” is a marketing ploy and serious disappointment. It is paper thin and provided nothing in the way of comfort. Just looks cool. I’ll be returning these and I’m heart broken because they looked so promising. Plush: Loved it for the first few weeks until it lost its luster. Didn’t hold up well at all. Now my head hits the mattress lol. Original: Heavy! Super comfortable but waaaay too thin for side sleeping. Gave it away to my brother :-( I own the Purple king original mattress going on 3 years now. It’s hands down the most comfortable mattress I’ve ever experienced. I still look forward to crawling into it to this day. My buddy swung by one day, tested it bc I always talk about it, bought one the next day lol. For me, I wish they would make a miniature purple mattress type pillow. Something that cradles my neck and head like the mattress does my body. That’s my opinion, and I’m sure I’ll buy the next model that they come up with also lol. **Also, their customer service is ridiculously amazing!
after 3 years, hows the original transition foam layer holding up? My only concern while looking at the form vs coil versions is the foam sagging quickly. I'm not heavy, less than 150 lbs.
Skiffles I’ve ranged between 210 and 240 over the last 3yrs (dropping it finally!!) lol. This puppy has held up like a champ. Zero difference from day one as far as I can tell. And I mean zero. It’s just as supportive and comfortable as the day I bought it. My old man has the hybrid mattress. Not gonna lie, it’s far better. But if you’re like me and $$ is important, go with the original. You’ll absolutely love it!

I just got the purple plush.. I’m waiting for the mattress but I’ve never been so satisfied with a pillow before in my life. It. Is. Such. A good investment
There is now a low height Harmony pillow! I've got the medium size one and I've slept on it for 3 nights now and it's ok but I'm used to a very low pillow. I've got both the low height harmony and the original purple on the way to try out. I really like that they have a generous 100 day trial. Price for me is irrelevant if it is going to give me a good night's sleep. We keep pillows for over a decade. It's an investment into your health and well being.
Just throwing this out there: The amount of micro plastics you intake from processed food and water is greater harm than the formula of plastic powder they use on the pillow. It is used to keep the grid lubricated similar to flour on dough. If you wash it all off expect some sound you heard earlier in this video.
Im a truck driver and i also drive my car everywhere and i use the cushion everywhere. Car, truck, operating machines, planes. I should check out the bed and pillow.
Harmony Pillow is the BEST PILLOW EVER IN MY LIFE. I had the purple original for quite a long time, but after few years, it kind of started to hurt. :D go with the harmony.
I appreciate pointing out the weakness of the Purple Harmony. It felt like it had no support. After your video, I removed the foam core and shoehorned a Tuft and Needle pillow inside. No more sore neck!
I'll tell you all. I spent right at $1000 on pillows and none were what I wanted. My friend bought the $5.88 mainstays at wal mart and told me how much he loved it so I bought one and am still using it about 4 years later. Hands down better than all big name brand latex and memory foam pillows I bought....
I just bought the purple 4 mattress with the bedding package. The harmony pillow is amazing. I have been using a buckwheat hull pillow for the last 20+ years. This is now my go to pillow.

Needed a cool-sleeping pillow. Have bought just about every popular brand. Six months ago I purchased the purple harmony and I love it. Never noticed a smell. Thanks for the tip about using a lower profile core, though I’m happy with the height for now. Second fav is the Coop pillow. It doesn’t sleep cool, otherwise it’s a dream.

If you think the purple pillow prices are expensive, the only pillow that compares to the purple is the Bedgear Nite Ice, and it sells for $300 here in Canada at the Brick

@DIYwithMichaelBorders a couple of stores here have told me that the Purple Harmony pillow is only sold in the USA. The only store that I know of that sell the Purple pillow here in Canada, Sleep Country, only sells the original Purple model
I've used the 10 pound people pillow I've had it for 3 years and the white stuff never bothered me. It did smell but it smelt more intresting than bad like an incense candle
I ordered the harmony pillow yesterday and am very excited to try it out. Sadly it's backordered and will take 3-4 weeks to arrive but I hope it's worth the wait and I enjoy it. How thick is the honey come grid? In the video ads I see it looks like a quarter to a half inch thick. I can't remember what the customer service people said when I asked them. I have a 100% talalay latex pillow that is from a different brand and I place the original Puple pillow over it. I have never had neck pains for the last 5 years.
I ordered the Purple Mattress with the sheet/pillow bundle. The bundle I bought includes 2 original purple pillows. We have slept of them for several nights and have not experienced any smell whatsoever. I did open one up and remove one of the spacers to reduce the size a little. I did not encounter any white powder or smell as mentioned in this video. I dont know if Purple has changed anything in the design but so far we are Very Happy with them. We are still patiently waiting on the mattress to arrive

I had the harmony. Worst pillow. Since i live in a hot state. By the middle of the night, the pillow was completely flat to sleep on. I ended up taking out the middle pillow and keeping the pillow case and put another pillow. I ordered the new purple pillow original. Waiting to get it in the mail.

I bought a purple harmony pillow 6.5 feels like $90 worth. It's not puffy as what it looks like in the advertisement, unless u add more $100+ layers to make it more puffed. I received flat and the size is normal as any other pillow (not really that big). It is indeed soft and firm. Is it worth it? No. The quality is good but not that fantastic to spend your $145 (w/ taxes) worth, not the best pillow at all.

I bought the harmony tall 7.5 inch. I am a side sleeper and it is NOT comfortable. It's is very soft and feels like I need 2 pillows to give me proper support. The curve on the pillow requires me to sleep higher on the pillow which digs into my neck and doesn't feel right. This pillows is going back.

Yes I bought two original purple pillows with the extra paddings and that seems to work very well, I have been sleeping super good without having to wake up at night. Only downside is it cost me about $200, but I believe these pillows will last me a lifetime so it is a good investment.
@@amazinazian55555 That is a great idea! So stacking two originals with the booster pads isn't too high for you? I would do the same thing, but not sure if that would crank my neck at a steep angle.
@@Mr-E. after some trial and error turns out just using the two purple pillows alone was enough, but I had to purchase the pads as well just in case if it wasn't.
IMO I bought the Harmony because of a neck injury. The first night I slept on it, I woke up with zero neck pain. I’m hoping it continues to do me justice

I have the original hard as a brick.. and flat..my head actually hurt first 3 nights.. that said.. my neck feels better each morning I wake up.. looking forward to it getting better everyday.. if your looking for plush..this is not it.. choose another one..

Just got a Purple seat cushion (which is fantastic at what it does) and have been interested in getting a mattress for over a year... with the only drawback being the price. I figure a Purple pillow is a better option for now, so thank you for the breakdown of the products. The original pillow seems the best both for comfort as well as durability in the long term. I really appreciate the breakdown of the features and I'm gonna go buy one right now based on the info you've given here. I hope they're giving you a check for selling people on these pillows. :)

I have this pillow and if I need a “cooler” side I just rotate the pillow 180 degrees, but I find that the polymer grid stays cooler overall so I often don’t need to rotate it at all during the night.
Matt Amon Thanks for watching. We have found that using the actual purple pillow case designed for this pillow works perfectly. It does a great job managing heat distribution as your head rests on it for several hours. We absolutely love it. 😎👍🔧🔩
I own the original purple pillow and yeah it did come with like a powdery type exterior but I never had any issues getting powder on myself or my bed sheets. I've owned mine for about 2 years and not once have I had an issue with the powder and at this point it's all gone. I HIGHLY suggest the original purple pillow.

Which one is the softest? I hate firm pillows. I currently have a My Pillow and it feels like I'm sleeping on a damn board and it is causing me kinks in my neck dizziness and lightheaded so i really need soft pillows.. I want to get the original but feel i would need to double stack them to get the right hight. I tested the original with the Purple 4 mattress with adjustable base at a Mattress Firm and liked it but it was too low otherwise since I am a combination sleeper.

The original is our favorite by far. It’s the perfect height, firm...but not hard...meaning it keeps its shape as the weight of your head is resting on it. It also never gets hot. The Harmony is soft however the higher arch shape wasn’t our favorite. Please keep us posted on your pillow search. We recommend the original. You can try it out & return it if it’s not helping. Just bought the purple pillow in canada and I guess they don’t offer the boosters. It feels like I’m not even using a pillow. It is incredibly flat. I will definitely be returning

I just purchased mine today (I'm from Canada as well). I called the company today to ensure that the pillow comes with the boosters..the person I spoke with said yes.. I'm worried that I was misinformed with the comments saying otherwise

Is it usual to have some broken on the corner of the original purple pillow? I just got a new one and found there is a broken on the corner, and I notice your pillow seems to also have a broken on the top-right. I was thinking of exchange it but wonder if it is a usual problem.
I just tried it myself, and honestly I like my $10 Target pillows better. The adjustable option is cool, but it only makes it slightly firmer/softer, and didn't add any benefit for me. I felt that it was just a typical fluff pillow that lacked support.
The grid looks like it wouldn't feel very comfortable. I don't even wanna try a purple mattress bc it looks like it'd feel weird instead of a soft comfortable cloud.

They were discontinued for awhile. The boosters weren’t boosting. I guess they’re bringing it back. I bought two originals a year ago and they were not available when I purchased.
I received my original purple pillow today and it came with both boosters, but I did buy it as a pack with the purple hybrid bed, sheets, pillow cases and 2 pillows. I've had the bed for a few weeks and love it. The pillow seems a bit stiff but I'll update in a few weeks.

Right, the Hex Grid thickness does nothing. It took them over a year and a half to make this pillow and they tested over 50 different version of this pillow and finally comes down to this one and it does NOTHING!!! Think before you talk.

Let me briefly tell you a little about my occupation. I am employed at Slumber world mattress in hilo Hawaii for 22 years now. My job consist of retailing and also attend every mattress conventions that comes to town. To say I been around a a lot of mattress's is a understatement. I can confidently say that I have tried every mattress from big brands mattress from Purple, tempurpedic, Rem sleep Soution, Casper and to amazon basics. Also the super luxurious $30 K mattress and up. I have tried it all. My mattress of choice is actually a custom made by me. And my material of choice is a 6 inch latex as the support base and a 3 inch medium soft 30 ILD transition layer latex and a 3 inch memory foam as the comfort layer. And to me that's the best and most comfortable mattress. Better than any purple or tempurpedic. Ever since when does a talalay latex is cheap and according to you is garbage? My question to you is which latex is good and solid? Please send a link.
Personally I have the harmony and it’s great it’s the best pillow I’ve ever slept with and it doesn’t get all hot and annoying it feels like sleeping in a cloud I love it!
I love my harmony pillow. Lucky for me I got to feel and try it because I wouldn’t have spent the money on the pillow. I got two with it higher and I never went back to sleeping on 4 pillows again
Not to revive a old vid, but I have all 3 of these pillows as well experience crazy neck pain on a daily basis. I never got those boosters with my og pillow either. I would say that it was probably the best but my biggest complaint was that it was too low.. the booster would of probably solved that problem.. I think harmony is too soft.
Does the original purple pillow pair well with a silk pillowcase? I just purchased a purple hybrid premier 3 and am looking to customize the shit out of my bed time experience for maximum comfort.

Victor LeClair Thanks for watching. The pillow by itself...hex grid cover removed is a good pillow. I still personally enjoy the Original purple pillow more than the Harmony & Plush...I like a more firm flat profile pillow. The Hex grid is very noticeable in a great way & it’s grid cushion is very comfortable. You do have the option of removing the cover and putting a different style pillow inside the cover. Still don’t understand how Purple is completely ignoring everyone who owns a king size bed. None of their pillows are available in that size. Putting traditional sized pillows on a king size bed is unacceptable.
Shawn - By your logic everything should just come in one size. Requesting anything more than that would be a “first world problem”. I think the more accurate assessment is that you are content with them only having one size because you are still sleeping on a twin bed in your parents basement. When you grow up and join the adult world you’ll realize that having multiple options is a good thing. Until then, focus on making something of yourself instead of judging the desires of people far beyond your success level.
I currently have a crushed foam pillow from nectar. However it has started to completely lose its shape and crush down like most foam pillows. I absolutely LOVE the purple mattress though. Any suggestions on what I should buy that would be better than what I have now? I am seriously considering the original purple pillow.

I purchased two original Purple pillows last year, and they didn't come with boosters. But I'm happy with them as is. The most comfortable pillow ever, I even bring one on vacations, lol.

The original purple pillow now costs more (I assume it’s because of the pandemic) but I haven’t ordered yet. I’ll update my experience when the price goes down to $99

We have the one in teh middle and boy is it heavy, is the new Harmony on heavy also? Both of them have made thier way into our son's bed and we don't care to take them back, we have an adjustable base mattress and its a pain to hulk around, considering the Harmony but probably need to feel it for myself.
