Mooncat is so interesting thematically, it's like you're a newborn creature learning to walk for the first time so the controls are equally odd to give the player that feeling of relearning simple movement.

Onion delivery actually reminds me a bit of paper boy, which is absolutely a game you are meant to be horrible at and slowly get better and everyone will think "oh this kid just sucks" watching you go boss mode and then try it and then realize they didnt know how strong you were. IDK maybe thats not a thing but thats my story with Paperboy lol. Like you watch and and you're thinking "dude just put the papers where they go?", and then you're playing it and then you're not playing it because you lost, and you aren't telling anyone what to do anymore because you are busy turning red.

I have not been so excited for a game release in a really long time. Brings me back to when I used to read Nintendo power over and over waiting for a game to come out. Thanks so much for this video! Can’t wait to play it

I watched like the 5 first reviews and thought to myself, wow I’m actually ruining this game for myself by watching. So I’m stopping here.. honestly I advise anyone who plans to play to do the same for now and come back once you’re done. Part of the fun is discovering these games as intended while playing. Don’t ruin it for yourself! Just a random tip 👍😁

I started with #11 as it's my favourite number Man this game is brutal. Some screens are insanely difficult. You can easily spent hours and hours just trying to beat it.

This looks awesome! Picking it up tomorrow. I’m a little perplexed that there isn’t an action platformer like Mario, though. They were very common in the 8-bit era. There’s lots of games like that already, but I feel like it’s missing something like that

From the looks of things, Mini & Max is probably the closest thing in the collection to that (though you defeat enemies by picking them up Mario 2 style).

I was definitely disappointed by Campanella 3 back in the day and like a lot of other Campanella fans, still don't consider it a true sequel but more of an oddball spinoff. Almost wore my LX out back in the day from playing the first two but yeah, the third is a black sheep.

I've had time to play the first half of the games, so I am going to watch the first half of the video. From the first 25 games (chronologically), my top 5 have been bug hunter, magic garden, attactics, avianos, and party house. Porgy and Waldorf's journey on the other hand have been a bit of a disappointment, but maybe I'm missing something. Let's see if you agree 🙂

I was indeed missing something 😅 I had no idea you could fly in Waldorf's journey! And I must give Porgy another chance, seeing that you like it so much. To me it always felt like I had to go back before I can accomplish anything and that my weapon doesn't do anything to the enemies, but I probably just need to find a few upgrades and the game will open up.
