Sonic 2 was also really good. I’ve seen PIB 2 on streaming and it’s pretty good, not amazing as people say, but good for the most part. Avatar 2 was fantastic in my opinion.

@@LordTylerBluGunderson Storytelling wise puss in boots 2 is quite possibly the best movie this year, not just in animation. It's an absolute masterpiece of an animated movie, and the fact that it's a "kids" movie makes it even better since nobody expected a character like death in it. Avatar on the other hand, is far too long despite being beautiful, and its story is literally a retelling of the first movie, which is very generic. I think it's maybe top 5 movies this year but nowhere near first place, I think that comfortably goes to everything everywhere or puss in boots 2

@@Sephirothkingdom782 That’s fine if you think it’s a “masterpiece” but the inconsistent tone going from dark and serious to light hearted comedy in a span of a minute. That’s a problem I had throughout the entire movie. Sure it has blood in it, but it kind of looked like jelly and they didn’t show blood throughout the rest of the movie. Is Death the Wolf a great character? Yeah! Of course he is! I just don’t see him as the best animated villain ever because he isn’t really a “villain” and you don’t really feel like no one can stop him (super powerful wise)because if you have someone like Kang the Conquer, he can literally just prune this version of Death out of existence. Of course another variant would replace him, but that’s fine because he doesn’t really win either if you just keep pruning him nonstop. I enjoyed Sonic 2 way more because it was easily my most anticipated movie of the year. I along with many others completely forgot Puss in Boots 2 was even coming out. It just looked “okay” from my point of view. Yes, it was a really good movie, but Sonic 2 was definitely way more entertaining because I know literally every single line of dialogue and I know the third will hopefully be that much more dark, serious, and more high stake than Sonic 2. That’s totally fine if you think this movie is a cinematic masterpiece because I’m all here for Woke Disney’s demise, but I just personally think this movie has really cool clips, but the movie itself was kind of whatever. That’s just my personal opinion and I don’t care if you despise me for thinking this movie isn’t all that perfect.

@@LordTylerBluGunderson I think your arguments are really weak as to why it’s a “weak” movie. I don’t think you understood the fact that this is a KIDS movie first and foremost, so only being dark would obviously not work. The blood looking like jelly is a really stupid attempt of criticism since that’s like saying sonic 2 is a bad movie because Jim Carey isn’t fat like egg man is in the games, therefore it’s a bad movie. See where that’s flawed? Also death being unstoppable is the point. Not every villain/antagonist needs to be stopped by someone. That’s not how it works. No single character in lord of the rings can kill Sauron head on from what we’ve seen from the main cast, that doesn’t make him bad. Every argument you put up is personal preference. Saying sonic 2 is “way more entertaining” is extremely subjective. I personally really liked the movie, but found puss in boots 2 better in every way possible. The fact that it didn’t have hype is what makes it better. Nobody expected it to be as good as it was. Also, the reason the movie is dark at times is because it’s not aimed JUST at kids, which is a common and good dreamworks thing.
