Even if you can’t order I’d recommend trying to make slime yourself, there’s recipes from slimers online that make slime that’s nicer than just slime and borax :D I can’t order slime either but I make some and I love playing with it to de stress
@@cuppaint when I made slime once it went on my couch, like all over it because I made it to fluffy And my dad made me throw it away😢 It was so fluffy the best slime ever.
@@cuppaintI went thru a huge slime phase back from 2017-2018 and even has my own slime Instagram!! I completely agree that slime is so helpful for distressing. All my old slimes are too gross now to play with so I gotta start from scratch 😭
i knew i adored you. now i adore you 200% more. i have 2 kids with sensory processing disorders and we watch slime videos and play with slime daily. i now enjoy slime as much as they do! it really has become part of our lives and seeing this video made my entire day! mia you are the best!
wooo! have u ever tried making sensory bins of the textures they like? like a mini habitat in a bin that’s interactive and has different feels and stuff! ive also seen edible ones made or safe to eat ones for really little children! i love to see a parent acknowledging and caring for their child’s specific needs!
@@lizardx4252 what an AMAZING idea!!! I can't believe i havent done this! Thank you for the great idea. i know it might sound funny to some but slime has helped my children tremendously. i know when anxiety flares up and we are on the verge of a "shut down" slime helps both of them relax. i find myself using it as well pretty much daily right along with my littles. we will be taking a trip to our local craft store today to pick up supplies so both kiddos have their own sensory bins. what a great community of kind and helpful people, thanks again
@@emilysusanvanvalkenberg5978 of course! I have my own sensory issues an an array of other mental health stuff and just having something to keep ur hands busy so you have less time to overthink and can stay more present bc of the textures!! Some really good ones u may want to try are like dried beans or rice, play doh, slime , jello if ur doing an edible one, moon sand, maybe floral foam, and i LOVE clay. I love to help other people with issues similar to mine! And it makes me so happy that u tend to ur kids needs on that level, many parents ignore it and pretend like their kid is overreacting. what ur doing, even if it seems as little as playing with slime, is such a wonderful thing and it shows that u care for ur children so much!
@@emilysusanvanvalkenberg5978 do they use stress balls, or putty? My granddad & sister had putty when they injured their fingers for rehabilitation. The bin idea is a good one. I've seen bins with sensory toys at events where children will be present, it is becoming a thing!
I feel like a lot of people can agree with the fact that every video Mia posts is so fun and entertaining! Probably the only youtuber I follow that consistently have good video ideas.. BUT at the same time I would honestly still watch if it was an hour video talking about grass so :)
They really are. I bought some a while back and they were fun to play with. Unfortunately I had to get rid of them because apparently my body didn’t like the scents and they gave me headaches and made me nauseous 😢
I feel like I can speak for the majority of your followers and say that you are amazing and don’t have to worry about trying to please us all the time, we love watching your videos because you are the best and kindest person❤ we will continue to watch you no matter what so do what makes you happy and you like even if some people may complain for no reason most of us just love watching you because you are so kind, sweet, and have a great personality💕
Every adult should take some time out each week to do something fun/childish...it relieves stress , allows the brain to switch modes for a bit, brings joy and just gives you a break from adulting..I loved your joy in this video💛💛💛💛💛💛
The childish thing I did last week was blow bubbles in my drink, I even told my friend about it. He questioned why I was doing something childish, but also thought it was funny. I was having a blast with blowing bubbles in my drink, it was funny to me.😂We're both adults.
Omg Mia. When I say we’re the same lol. Watching slime videos is my guilty pleasure and I’ve ALWAYS wanted to order. I’ve been embarrassed of my obsession until now. Thank you for that😂
Another shop is Dope Slime! They are amazing with may texture with an amazing price for like $11! They have so many textures and colors with over 800 slimes and you can also buy your own ingredients glue, beads ect! There is also different sizes (most are 8 or 5 oz) last thing you can make your own custom slime for a birthday or holiday. I really recommend it. It’s really worth it
As an adult slime lover, I am living vicariously through you right now! I have my own Etsy slime shop that I was hoping to see when you were scrolling through 😄
I started my day with this and it uplifted my mood so much! Mia living our slime fantasy for us! (UK gal can't get slime) Genuinely enjoyed watching this so much!
I absolutely love watching your videos. Whenever I have feel like I need a friend I know that your content will always make me feel better! So thank you Mia!
you poke the slimes like a keyboard to make them click, like four keys at once into the slime and pull away quickly and they click, it works the best with the glossy or clear slimes.
I love how she is just having so much fun! That’s how it’s supposed to be ! Tik tok and other social media places have made some unsaid rules on how to play with slime! FYI she’s breaking them all! But I love it because it’s a stress reliever without rules and regulations like everything else is.
Butter slimes (the ones that have clay mixed in them, including those where you yourself mix those little clay decors into the slime) are the ones made for spreading (drag-ability lol) on the table. And you get the pop noises (bubble pops) when basically you stretch the slime out in your hands and fold it over several times to trap air in it and then squeeze it. If you watch a video from talisa tossel I'm sure you'll get a hang of it. Just spreading the knowledge i gained when i was 13 hehe
Slimes usually do inflate especially when you play it (especially Clay slimes) but once you squish it and pop those air bubbles and play with it it deflates (this also happens to slushie slimes, it really depends)
mia i want to inform you that this video (and the other slime smoothie one on your main channel) officially started my slime spiral as a 23 year old adult 😅 now i’m here with my dozen+ slimes and could not be happier & more broke~ anyways, if you want to write off more slimes on your taxes, i’d totally watch more slime videos from you haha
@@cck6740 That makes sense! You want to make sure you wash (and properly dry off) your hands before touching it, but you definitely can play with slime multiple times. The better you take care of it, the longer you can reuse it. I have some slimes that I bought back in February that I’m still playing with now!
I have the same feeling as Mia about how satisfying slime is but I never could justify paying 20$ for it 🥺 Mia I'm living vicariously through you!!!! 😍😍
There’s alot of slime shops cheaper, maybe around the $10-$16 dollar range. Also they last forever, I got one and it’s still good even after months. Because of this I don’t regret it but also I’m the type to benefit from physical stimming
Im not saying that all slime is bad, but- For people with sensitive skin, definitely watch out when playing with slimes. I used to play with slime a lot but then i developed severe eczema that covered my fingers and hands. It was from the borax and other chemicals that are used for activator. That was 6 years ago and it still bothers me every so often to this day and now i have eczema scars on my fingers and hands. Stay safe yall
Why was this my favorite video of mias and I’ve literally watched every single one. It’s just so relatable. I’m a a full grown adult and get so excited over these little things. I need to see a video of mia opening mystery toy next because that’s my unreasonable obsession.
Omg lol 😂 I just got my peachy bbies order today!! Puts away slime and grabs phone to watch RU-vid and this is the first video I see. I’m 33, never ordered slime before and had almost the exact same experience as you ❤ too real!
Mia playing with the slime like it’s dough . I did the same thing until I studied the slime asmr videos to figure out how to get the best bubble pops and I was off to the races. Bubbles pops are my absolute favorite part of playing with slime!!!
Oh my gosh! I didn't know how many times I watched this part 3:21 and laughed so much!! It was so funny!!! And 8:18 everytime you shout but like whispering lol!!! i just love you so much, you're so funny 😆
I recently started buying slimes too and I’m a totally financially responsible 27 year old woman XD I used to not care about slime but the crunchy, watery, and super soft slimes they have now is just ~chef’s kiss~
This is so much fun. Boy oh boy has slime come a long way since the 70s when it was only one color of sickly green. Never in a million years would I have imagined that I would enjoy a video on slime. ❤🧡💙💛💚💜
Little tip on slime: The different types of slime sound different for example, cloud slimes don’t really make asmr sounds, they a soft and kind of fuzzy I guess, but more gello-y slimes like clear slimes make click sounds, different slime types have different properties like feeling, texture, sound, etc. If you would like to discover what slime you prefer, you could search up these on RU-vid: butter slime, clear slime, bingsu slime, cloud slime, water slime, sand slime, etc. (I spent a lot to make this comment so please consider liking)
Cracks are air bubbles popping, you can get them by folding the slime so it has lots of air pockets. Stretch it like a sheet, then fold it over itself. The more you do it, the more cracks. (Or you can do wax coatings to get that hard crunch when you break em.)
I’m thoroughly enjoying this video since this weekend I discovered slime shorts and quickly purchased a bunch from momo slimes and am so freaking excited, also living my lil fantasy lol!
Everytime I watch your videos I miss my mom a lil more we had an amazing relationship like you two do she's been gone 12 years now she was only 54 when cancer took her from the world and the world lost a beautiful amazing wonderful person, mom, sister, aunt, Grandma etcccc...I know we would've had a blast playing with these and even if she didn't enjoy them as much as I did she would've made me feel like she did. Always keep those memories flowing I was only 35 when my mom passed and my youngest daughter was 1 yr old so she doesn't remember her which is such a shame. The grandkids that do remember her miss her so deeply. Love you n your mom and your amazing content.
I have a love/hate relationship with slime. We have banned it in my house after my 7 year old hid hers from her cousin..... in the towel cupboard. Not in the container. It melted down the towels. Not the kids towels or beach towels the nice fluffy thirsty white towels you save for guests. Heartbreaking monumental slime moment.
I really enjoyed watching you enjoy your slime. The video had me smiling the whole time. As far as you mixing all the slimes together, take a small piece of each and live your best life.
Mia you should do something so that there are air bubbles in between the layers of slime (does that make sense 😭😭) so that it can make that clicking/cracking sound❤️❤️ Love you!💞
The slime was soooo cute when decorated and soooo satisfying when stretched. Since I cannot judge by scent, my favorite was the cloud slime. A making of video on slime could be good, unless it destroys the fantasy by showing humans handling it like it was a hazardous commodity!
Omg i used to watch you years ago but somehow lost track. Recently have stumbled into the timtok slime hole and now youtube circled back around to you! Amazing! 😍 Waiting for my first slime order as well haha
Slime has come a long way. I remember back in 2003 when I was in 3rd grade, I bought 2 slimes (in a film roll like packaging), one red looking like blood (with a sticky eyeball charm inside) and a snot looking one (with a stick nose charm) lol AND LOOK AT THE SLIMES NOWADAYS ahaha omg
adults that aren’t annoyingly immature but are immature in the GOOD way because they just let their inner child come out and enjoy silly, fun things when it’s appropriate >>>>>> i’m 19 and i still like slime and stuffed animals and going to parades and having dance partys in my room and making beaded bracelets and watching cartoons. idc. it’s fun. it’s happy. it’s stimulating. idk why humans decided that we can’t or shouldn’t do those things once we hit a random age.
