My mother is a soap maker. For my wedding she made little tiny miniature soaps in the shapes of leaves (it was a fall themed wedding). Apparently some people didn't read the label and thought they were candy (to be fair I could see very easily how they looked like white chocolate candy) and I believe they were pumpkin spice scented. One of the guests got up in the middle of the reception and had an announcement made "Please don't try eating the wedding favors they are Soap, not food." I died laughing wondering who had found out the hard way.

That reminds me of when I was younger. My mum made these small fish-shaped soaps and put them in the bathroom. It was my sister's birthday and my uncle came by. He had to go to the bathroom and a couple minutes later we heard 'aaah! urgh! what the hell!'. He thought they were candy and ate one. I still don't get it, it's a clever guy, why did he think we'd keep a dish of candy in our bathroom?

I one time commented we that we would watch her read a book. Just her sitting reading a book. The only video of hers I have not watched to date was the Candy ASMR video. I can't do it. It gives me the opposite effect. But that is the only one I think.

To answer your question: I don't care about the soap. I'm going to keep buying my cheap liquid soap in bulk, but I've had an awful week and 13 minutes of Mia energy is a wonderful breath of fresh air!

I can't use perfumed soaps either, but I did allow myself to buy one Royalty Soap several years ago. It's the fairy stamp with fireflies, & I kept it wrapped & use it as an ornament.

@@Hannahsxoh, come on, Mia is not a child. If she wants to make soap with lye, she can. With the proper precautions, it's not that dangerous. I used lye the first time I made soap and I was fine. I've been making soap for a few years now and still have never done melt and pour. You just have to research soapmaking well and use the right equipment and protection.

In the uk it’s actually illegal so have soap or cosmetics that could be mistaken for food. I got really into making bath bombs and when I looked into the legality of selling them and it was way complex sooo many rules. I’m obsessed with those orange segments.

As someone who also finds it hard to use/get rid of things, my advice to you is when you use the soap for example, just be really present in the moment and enjoy the scents/texture of the soap. If you ever find yourself missing something because you used it, you can always watch the video it's in or take a picture of it to remember it by. Try and enjoy the experience of using it rather than the thing itself.

I would love to see some more critique in these types of videos: how much did the soap cost, was it worth the cost in your opinion? How long did they last in use, did they dry out your hands, was the seller co-operative, how long did shipping take? These feel more like advertisements at times than reviews.

There are soap roses where you take off one petal to wash your hands🌹 I think they are nice, as the rest of the rose looks good quite long, it just becomes a smaller bloom😊

One thing I love to do with fancy soaps is stick them in my clothes drawers, a trick I picked up from my mum. It makes my clothes smell great and I also get to cherish the soap instead of it washing down the drain.
