I'll be REVIEWING FLYHAWKS * 1/700 SCALE * (ROYAL NAVY SEAPLANE DOCKSIDE BASE) Also they're 1/700 German Grobes Torpedoboot G-39 1916. Both of these kits are typical of Flyhawks super attention to detail and both should make for fun builds. Special thanks to Jim Starkweather for supplying these review samples. Cheers!

Grobes... ;D lol... the "ß" symbol in German translates to (more or less) "Sz". So it would be pronounced "Groszer" (sounds like: Grosser) and the whole word translates to 'large'. So it's a large torpedo boat. Love the detail that Flyhawk go to, but 1/700 is far too small for my eyes to handle. Look like fantastic kits though, if you're enough of a masochist to take on all that PE. Great vid, thanks for sharing. And the guy over at KMW seems like a nice guy too!

Love that you do some historical information (with footage!) in addition to the traditional in box review 😁👍🏻 sometimes a kit or vehicle doesn't jump out at me until I learn about the real life version and it brings it to life.

Thanks man. Yeah I like to know some history about the particular kit I’m looking at and your right, it may not be something I’m interested in per say but once the historical aspect is peaked then I have second thoughts. Cheers!

Aren’t they.! I can’t believe some of the detail Flyhawk can achieve in such a small scale. I think they’re one of the best in the market. And if your eyes can handle the size it certainly is great bang for the buck.😁

I really hope they make a delicated dock/dry dock alone for Europe in WW1-2, or a Japan dock is even better, only plastic dock i know available is from Aoshima and they are quite old mold, and PE and plywood dock is good but quite costly

1/700 Kure Harbour Kit came out years ago very rare hard to come by I was lucky enough to pick one up at auction on ebay - only bidder - also got the add on kit of trains and vehicles for the diorama both great kits here's a link for the kit (discontinued) www.1999.co.jp/eng/10287723
