The black one suits you better. Dark colors are more forgiving with plus size ladies. It’s better to go for them in outerwear. I like colors on my tops)). It just makes you look slimmer. I use that trick :) I bought a militar green long trench coat new from the store and I loveee it. A trench is so versatile. And as you said I’m wearing it now with a thin puffer coat inside because it’s still chilly here. And it’s goals :). Love your channel 🥰💜

Nice video ! I am also in love with trench coat. Right now I am wearing a blue navy trench from Sandro that I own since 2015, such a great piece that I can consider as my favourite clothe from my wardrobe. I just love how versatile, classic and beautiful it is, how it can highlight any of my outfit 💙💫 surely the best item for a man's wardrobe. Leaving in the south of Europe the trench is definitely something I can wear from autumn to spring and even in winter. I have a Kensington in stone with the older house check lining and the black/brown horn buttons. Same as you in the long length! Got to snag it before it was phased out. Burberry changed the buttons to be beige and I wasn’t a fan/ so good thing I was able to get mine! I always wanted to get a black in that style but it wasn’t available since that colour was being phased out. I tried on a Chelsea - the newer version - with the vintage check I had to size up. It’s more of a navy blue which I’ve grown to like. I got it in the extra long length and was able to get a deal on Luisaviaroma!!!! I saved nearly $1000!!! I’m so excited! I actually dry cleaned my stone Kensington for the first time! I used a dry cleaner recommended by Burberry. I was impressed that they were able to get out a lot of the stains and marks! About the waterproof coating: Burberry informed me that after a couple of cleanings, I may find that water will start to seep through. They said I can always bring it in for it to be re-coated or re-sprayed! My heart fluttered when you mentioned Mackage! I’m Canadian and I’m so happen when people from other countries sport our fashion brands! I love my Mackage Trish parka! I love it so much that I even bought a back up! So glad I found your channel! Skin tone and metal (gold/silver) also are determining factors when making handbag, clothing, and accessory purchases. Based off your video, I have an in person color analysis appointment. 😄

I bought a stone colour one a few years back. Unfortunately, London is so dirty that it lasts about 30 wears before needing a dry clean, which costs about £100 a go. Definitely need to get a blue one to hide the dirt.

I enjoyed seeing your Burberry jackets and how You style them. I just counted mine and I have 10 all up! The first one I ever bought was a long black trench about 10 or more years ago at David Jones in Sydney, this was when they had a section of Burberry in DJ’s and the day I went to the store they had 50% off!!!! I literally nearly fell over and snapped that baby up.
May I ask for a suggestion, please? I just bought a Kensington online in size 6 which fits me loosely all around except for the shoulder/armpit area that's too tight. I don't know if going up a size would work. Does the Chelsea also have fitted shoulder as well?

Hi there! Thanks for watching, I prefer the Kensington personally, I think it’s much more wearable through all seasons. It’s roomier to fit a sweater underneath in the cooler months. I hope that helps 😊
The Kensington and summer jacket I have worn consistently across spring winter and autumn since I bought them in May 2012! The Chelsea I’ve hardly worn since purchasing in 2018, I haven’t had it dry cleaned yet!

I'm tempted to get a Burberry trench, but I'm worried it's going to be too warm. I just want it for rain; where I live it barely gets cool enough in winter to wear long sleeves.
They have styles that are more like a rain coat less like a heavy coat... I was looking when I went to London a few years ago, I just couldn’t justify a Burberry rain coat 🤣🤣
Great info. I only own high street coats but I would like to invest in a Burberry. I finally found a kessignton style Burberry in dark bronze. That’s my kind of nude!The price is like 🙈🙈...but I would have to look at it the same way I look convinced myself buying my classic flaps.
I think the high street coats are fantastic, I think it’s just a vibe that Burberry has that even if nobody knows.... you know and you feel a million dollars because of it... weird but true 🤷🏻♀️
Hi Juliet, I think it’s just archive beige, it was originally the waterproof fabric but I’ve learnt from doing this video I can have Burberry re waterproof it. Is it gabardine fabric, I think so?
I recently purchased a women’s Burberry rain coat at a thrift shop . The coat has all the detail and markings of an authentic Burberry with the exception of the buttons, the Burberry logo is not on them. I was wondering if there was a period when Burberry didn’t put their logo on them ?

@@robles634 Vintage Burberrys didn't just have the traditional nova check they sometimes had different checks, just check the inner left pocket and check the label should read burberrys of London and a size such as 50 Reg or short or long if it's a mans coat, Also vintage Burberrys did rarer check linings in navy blue nova check for a navy blue mac and a black nova check for black mac and the best Burberrys raincoat were made from 1980 to 1989 these are thee best quality ones all made in England and built to last. You have genuine one so dont fret.
