Twice a week is perfect, always excited for new content! 20-25 mins is also the perfect length...and if you feel inspired to venture out into other topics as well, why not, can't say what we think until we see it, I guess :D thanks for being the most interesting person on RU-vid!
Yes, really enjoy the 2x per week and the longer the better. Would also love more videos on your process around prop styling and how you got into it. Thanks! :)
girl i could watch you talk about the flavor of water for hours. like, seriously, as long as you are having fun with your content and having a healthy schedule for you, i will be excited to watch whatever
The tapestry one was mine! It's woven on a frame made of 2x2s so that it's nice and square on my wall instead of hanging loosey goosey, which isn't my personal style.
This was my favorite, and wasn’t just a diy to me at all, it is art. There’s a difference. it looks brilliant and even if you don’t consider yourself an artist, you should be so proud of the wonderful piece you created!
Not too much content! I always look forward to your videos. 15 -25 minutes are my preferred video length, but of course depends on the topic. I really like these reviewing subribers series, I'm always so curious about other regular peoples homes!
I noticed a xmas themed folded baby recently and I would've never given it a second thought now I will forever be haunted by the idea of the folded baby 😂
If you post twice a week, I’d for sure watch! And yes, your videos are a great length :) not sick of your talking - I get lots of great ideas from your content! Thank you!
there's an interesting podcast out now called Articles of Interest that dives into the popularity of preppy/ivy style's popularity globally if anyone is into this style/topic
That handbook is so expensive to buy online too. A tatty old copy goes for like 60-100$ plus. I’d love to read it but I’m hoping I run into it at a thrift store or something someday!
I love you posting twice a week! You're killing it. I think a good mix of lengths is nice, not all 30 minutes, not at 12 minutes, variation video to video keeps me interested. Additionally I think certain video content merits a longer run time, and that feels the most natural. Thanks for the great work you do :)
You commenting on REAL homes of real people with normal money is one of my favorite type of videos you do! And I love that you post more often lately! 🖤
Paige, one of my favorite parts of your videos is how chaotic your description of things is 😂 I spend the whole video shouting out the words for things while typically agreeing with you 100%. Off the top of my shitty pregnancy memory: The coffee table is chevron, not herringbone which has overlap. The wood with the holes is called a pegboard. The faux stone vessel is paint mixed with baking soda, baking powder or literal dirt. The all provide different results.
The track shelves were mine! For anyone interested in doing the same thing: The track shelving and brackets were actually from Home Depot, they’re normally sold in the areas with garage storage or closet storage solutions. The 70 inch tracks are $15 and each bracket was $6. I used standard common wood boards from the lumber section (just inspect them to make sure they’re straight and not warped). I’m an engineer so I used a free version of autoCAD to plan everything out and calculate how much wood I would need but a pencil and paper and tape measure would do the same job. To cover the entire wall like that, the cost of the supplies, tool rental, wood stain and finish was under $500. Another thing to note is if you’re renting, closet maid has a slightly more expensive version of this kind of track hardware, but you hang the vertical tracks off of one horizontal track that you screw into the wall with toggle bolts (these are way more secure than standard drywall anchors). Hanging everything on a single horizontal track will make fixing everything when you move out much easier.
Twice a week is great. Also, love that you upload on Sundays - it’s part of our wind-down/end the weekend on a high note routine. 20-30 min is fab (the longer the better). And our favorite topics of yours are def interior design. Keep doing what you’re doing! 🪑
Paige, I would absolutely love to see you design an entire home with different home decor styles! I know it would be a super extensive series but I'm Canadian, currently living in Taiwan, and when we move back home we're building a house! I love so many different interior decor styles that I'm wondering how to make them mesh! Also, I would love to see a video on what architectural elements you love in homes. Things you'd have to build in! :)
Yes to twice a week! And no I am absolutely not sick of you. Far from it. I never miss one of your videos 😂 please keep these videos coming. Love the interactive ones where you rate people’s homes and this diy one was super fun.
Definitely not sick of your videos- I have binge watched almost all of them over the last month! I feel like some more 30 min videos would be awesome. And they don't need to be only about interiors- a day in the life, the chats where you just hang out and move stuff around, thrift hauls, etc are really fun.
Please post 2x a week!! I was so excited to see this today. I really look forward to your videos. I like also when you review viewers homes or projects too. As for different content, bring it!!
It felt like christmas when you said twice a week! I would honestly watch an hour long video, this is the only channel i watch that im genuinely excited for ! Keep up the good work Paige, we are here for it! more is more :)
twice a week is good if you are having fun. I feel like I'm checking in with a friend when I watch you. I like the variety of content that you bring. I appreciate that you share what's going on in your life. Can't wait to see your new little bungalow in CA and how you decorate it. Take us on some shopping trips with you. Any reno or DIY or decorating you do as you make it your home.
Do whatever works for your schedule but 2x week videos, ~15 mins would be a treat!! Also, love seeing what your subbies are doing, your shopping guides, and honestly anything else.
You're honestly my comfort RU-vidr now. I love the longer videos and look forward to your posts. I personally am not as into non interior design content though
I have the hardest time getting through any video longer than 10 minutes in one fell swoop, but I came home from shopping (so exhausting for me) got some sweet potato chips, globe grapes and a protein drink, sat down on the bed and checked out my subscriptions, and when this video was done, I said "Oh NO!" That's a compliment. I only do that with you and Lone Fox, but with him, it's just that he's so danged cute. With you, I don't know, I just like watching and listening to you ramble on like you do. I've lived in my rental apartment for 7 years, and next year, I have permission to completely remodel it as long as I undo it when I leave. I may never leave. i'm 70 years old, and this apartment is worth so much more than I pay for it. In fact, the new tenants have to pay about $120 more a month than I'm paying. I love it here, so I watch remodel videos to get ideas of what to do to this tiny little 520 SF space, that honestly, looks sort of trashy at present.
Yes I like the 20-35min videos, I usually watch you while cooking or in the kitchen doing small tasks. Its nice to hear you your tips, I could listen to you talk about anything.
Here for the twice per week posting! You and Caroline keep me on RU-vid. So pumped for your new home decorating content, and also LOVE the subscriber commentary/gentle roasting. Not helpful, but honestly down for whatever you do.
Twice a week is just perfect. Talking about other topics makes it also very exciting and gives us a chance to know you even better. But what I find very much fun to watch, is the way you have divided your interior videos, I guess that came with time. The video length 20-30 mins is also perfect. Thank you for being you Paige! 🫶🏼
I love these feedback vids - super interesting to see what other people do in their homes. Also love 15-20 minute vids - perfect length to me. I love to listen to you talk esp when I’m working or walking. I’m good with once a week, but twice is a bonus. You have a big move coming up - if you want to do content more than just interiors, you could talk about moving, your work, spots you love to eat in LA, etc. Do a tour of your fave spots to thrift - go to the Rose Bowl flea market and document what you see that’s cool. Id love to watch content like that
Love this type of video! And never too much content from you. I prefer the longer videos (20-30 min). I look forward to all of your thoughts on a range of topics. I appreciate your honesty, eye for design, style, and your sense of humor. Thanks for sharing your self with us!
The more the merrier. Love your honest no BS approach. Would love to see more of your prop styling and hints and tricks on how you style your own space with the things you like. I only found your channel the other week and have binged them all.
Def not too much content…20-25 minutes is great….twice a week is excellent. Your sharing or discussing random topics adds to the entire format and vibe. Random inclusion is fun. So enjoy your videos…platforms. Ty.
I've been enjoying hearing your thoughts and excited to see more videos from you, especially after your move! I really like seeing your small business/artist likes and recommendations. I like seeing what other subscribers send you. Keep doing your thing. Your length of video is just fine :)
In India people are obsessed with covering their TV. It was such a trend back then that every home used a fabric with designs to cover the TV & I remember growing up my mom covered the TV screen with a very pretty hand-embroidery white fabric to avoid the dust on the screen. She even covered the top of microwave with embroidery fabric & I do too and think it looks very pretty. I wish I could share a picture in here.
I’m the exact same with DIY decor. No matter how good it turns out I always know it’s not exactly what I wanted. I instead settled for my own weird, DIY’d, copy. The only time I’m ok with DIY decor is with holiday decor. I recently spray painted, textured and jazzed up some Christmas decorations and hobbled together some Halloween decor…it’s great. I think I can live with it.
I appreciate longer videos, 15 mins is great, but 20-30 is like a little special treat! This is the only "talky" channel about interior design i like to watch, and I really love hearing you opinion on stuff! Thanks xx
When I found you earlier this year, I binged watched all your vids. Even though I love most things you say you hate. Like boho, neutrals, and herringbone. I absolutely love your perspective on things. You got me into art and you have me obsessed with antiques. I’ve shifted my decor like toward Boho Antique.
I am definitely going to paint my white lampshade and sew some pillows, thanks to this video! I found seeing the projects other people are working on to be very inspiring and would love to see more of this content!
Will happily watch you talk about whatever you want as often and long as you like. Excited about the stuff to come with the move and the store, but am also here for stuff other than decor. (Also, the Preppy Handbook is *such* a classic.)
You're interesting, so I like hearing what you have to say because I've found that aside from being interesting - I love your values. I love your appreciation for old and unique things - art - rather than cookie cutter wholesale. I love that you love music and that that's part of the home interior experience. (I do too.) I love that you treasure your parents and are sentimental. I pretty much agree with any rants you've had about things I consider corny or lacking depth or are just overused. I also happen to love that lamp pattern that you aren't esp fond of - haha, so it's cool when you say it for yourself, but leave it open for others. I'd watch you for a half hour, and for 20 min, and if you have something quick once in a while, I'd watch that too. I'm glad you're here & look forward to what you do with your new home. Thanks for being you Paige, and for this RU-vid sharing.
These were fun. I think I liked the kitchen tools thing best, and the tv unit is great. I generally like to hide TV, though do like that some flat screens have art or photo screen savers now. Unfortunately I’m too busy right now to attempt DIY stuff, and also feel they can sometimes look cheap if you don’t have strong skills. Twice a week would be amazing! And 30 min is a great length. Long enough to go in-depth; short enough to leave time to cook dinner 😊 As for venturing into other topics…I’d keep it “decor-adjacent.” While it’s nice to get a window into other parts of a YTer’s life (and fits the YT “community” algorithm), venturing too far astray can lose the plot. Another YTer I watched a lot veered off into her dating life, personal issues, etc, and while I can relate to it all, I come here to learn, not hear about relationship issues that I’ve gone through, too. There are other YT channels for that 🙂 I’d love more insights into your prop-styling career and tips, personally…
I’ve thrifted lamp shades …I love them, painted them, used stencils and covered with fabric too! They really bring something unique to a room! I haven’t pleated yet but definitely intend to….love the videos Paige and twice a week would be great if you can…just some content on your day-to-day stuff would be awesome (I liked it when you went to Europe and came to England - it was good to see the London Air bnb I used the wooden draining board idea from it) - your USP is around design 😊
I just did those types of track & bracket shelving from Home Depot and installed them in my pantry/laundry area! Worked so well & it’s only about a 3 hour project. Fits our MCM home very well.
Love it Paige~ the way you describe stuff make’s me laugh, really enjoy you’re videos and this type of content (subs). I think the green kitchen utensils thing is called a ‘peg board’ 🤩
I’m so not sick of your content! This morning I was so happy to discover you uploaded a new video! Please keep talking about whatever subject you want, I’m here for it. And 30min videos are welcome :D
Twice a week...yes! Around 20 minutes is perfect. I love your decorating content, so I hope you will stick with that! Also, I love these feedback videos. I don't have anyone with great taste who tells me the truth about the stuff I do in my house, so it is fun to see what you think is cool or interesting.
The podcast You’re Wrong About just did an amazing episode on the preppy handbook and preppy style in general. Also I will watch whatever you upload so whatever works for you👍
Yes!!!twice a week would be awesome. I’m here to consume it all- 20-30 mins is great! Always look forward to your content and I love the reviewing homes of subscribers
I’m really enjoying the two videos a week. I love the interior design content but talk about anything you like. I enjoy your ramblings. I figure you’ll have a lot of interior design content while you are settling into your new home. As well as the adjustment to living in LA again. I recently move to Italy and am still learning the language so it nice to have someone to “chat” with in English. Keep it coming 😊❤
You're easily my favourite youtuber over the past couple of years so I would definitely love two videos a week (and as long as you like) however I wouldn't want you to feel pressure to post if you haven't got a particular idea. Your videos still feel like a special treat as it doesn't feel like you're churning stuff out for the sake out - every video feels intentional. My personal favourites are check out this f home, how you would decorate for certain occasions or how you would upgrade a specific type of space. One of my all time favourites was about millennial wedding decor as it was time someone finally called it out all out haha. I would love your take on how you would decorate for parties/weddings etc and more videos about hosting. One of my other faves was when you hosted the dinner party with kate - I loved seeing you both set it all up and how you both thought about where each item would go. Even though I'm not a prop stylist, It's the kind of stuff I love to focus on too so I would definitely love more videos like that.
Twice a week would be great. I really enjoy seeing what other people are doing in their own spaces. But I really enjoy all of your content. I find I have similar views as you on home decorating trends, and your sometime sarcastic tones on things you don't like makes me laugh. I say keep them coming!
I enjoy the length of your videos but even 15 minutes is nice. I honestly prefer sticking with talking about interior design because it's definitely a big interest of mine and you honestly stand out amongst everyone on RU-vid. Maybe try another channel for other topics or if you want to do two videos a week, maybe one day is interior design and another day is for other topics? Just brainstorming. Really enjoyed this video as I totally agree with you on DIYs being in danger of looking too "crafty" and cheap. :P
Twice a week is a good amount! 15-25 minutes is good for these sit down videos. Other topics are welcome! I am interested though to hear about how to style up a dinner table! For the holidays or really any time of year moving forward too!
It was me! re: Preppy handbook. I lived for Brooks Brothers and Lacoste. I'm a bit embarrassed by this now :) I think I saw two in the bookcase on a newer video - now I get why!
Never sick of your content! I love your videos so twice a week would be great when you have time. I think this length of video is perfect. 15-25 min. I like when you talk about all manner of things. Your perspective and aesthetic are unique and I appreciate that.
The more content the better - you have such an authentic personality and you're refreshingly honest about your opinions. It feels different to a lot of RU-vid or internet personas and it's so welcome. So, videos on any and all topics and twice weekly posting most welcome.
Paige, hi! What I think I would like to see is a little more live prop styling and interior decoration. Like, what you would really do with a real space and budget. I guess that will be coming in 2023 with your new apartment and all. Happy holidays!
I like reviews of subscriber submissions! Nice to see real world examples that are more realistic. I like 15 min and 30 min videos. I think once a week would be fine, sometimes I don't watch both of your videos each week.
yes on the interactive videos! I would also love one if you help those of us who are stuck with certain features in our home and don't know what to do about them. Someone installed a shiny wood accent wall in my 1870s house back in the 2000s which I hate because it doesn't suit the style of the house at all, but can't afford to get removed and don't have the skillset to remove myself. Would love to know what you would do with it!
PLEASE keep up the twice a week posts. Honestly, you could post every day and I am here for it. And absolutely would love to hear you share more about you and your life!
Love this kind of video! There are probably guiding Hiding a tv in a cabinet is so mid-century! I remember the tv that came in a little teak cabinet perfect with its legs. The modern riff on that theme you showed was so fun!
