Hi, editor here. If this director's commentary feels different I want to apologize. Premiere did not like this project at all and was causing a lot of errors and lag. Hope you still enjoy this and don't notice anything wrong.

Forget trying to pronounce Portuguese words with "ão" or "ões". And don't feel bad for it. English speakers very very very very seldom are able to do it. The sort of nasal echo you need to produce requires you to develop the ability to do it since childhood. It's very rare for an English speaker to be able to reproduce the sound of "ão" or "ões" without having learned Portuguese from a young age. Even the Spanish can't do it and they speak a language that came from the same branch of vulgar Latin.

My step-father used to start the day with fun history facts like: John Bordne disobeyed direct orders to launch nuclear missiles during the Cuban Missile Crisis on October 28, 1962. This was a critical moment during the Cold War when tensions between the United States and the Soviet Union were extremely high. We all almost died. In fact we’re all alive because so many people in history disobeyed direct orders. Ok have a great day at school! Listen to your teachers. Uuuh… yeah will do.

Black in Jamaica is so diverse, my homie tried to break it down, but, I think he was speaking patua. (I know how to say it, but I can't spell it). He's really dark, but considered light skinned. Side note, the movie about the blue parrot, Pixar, the monkeys represent black people. I took my Brazilian baby mama to see it and it offended her. Subtle racism...

You should upload your research somewhere. If you really are the most informed english speaking expert on this event then a lot of other people could learn and use your research if it was available in some document. Imagine not only being a great channel for entertainment but also the main source of obscure historical information in a scientific way
