to me they didn't, i've known that the toyota gt86 / scion frs / subaru brz are all the same for a few years actually, the most surprising one to me was the ford f-150 and lincoln mark lt
Fun facts about the subaru and the toyota: it was a collab between the two companies and they sell the car on both of their names. Also the toyota version is the AE86's son (look it up)
That's actually false. However, you are kind of right. Let me explain. Subaru and Toyota are completely different brants. However, Toyota owns Scion. Subaru, Toyota, and scion (owned by Toyota but technically its own company) all worked together on the BRZ (Subaru name) I believe Toyota and Scion designed it and Subaru made the engine. The Subaru version is called the BRZ. The Toyota name is the 86, and the scion version is called the F-RS. (Edit: Also Toyota has a stake in Subaru, no, Toyota does not own Subaru, however, they have something similar to stock in the company, that's why they worked together on a car.)
The grand caravan and Chrysler voyager look the same because dodge is owned by Chrysler It’s like when ford mercury look the same, ones owned by the other one
