@Rollo Yeah they take the whole - being in the whole in the world but not of it, to an exteme, a great way to isolate their kids, fellow brothers and sisters in faith from the rest of the world, keep them ignorant and make them view mistreatment, bullying and persucation as mark of honour that they a gods people...

For me my young adult years shepherding calls always consisted of the elders going through my record collection to see what I had I was and continue to be a fan of Goth music so you can imagine what does calls where like for me. I’m content now being free of so much nonsense. Incredibly my depression and anxiety subsided considerably after my departure. My siblings don’t understand how I could be happy away from the org. And yet I see them and they are unhappy and intolerant. I wonder why??

It’s not forbidden, its heavily implied or discouraged against on average. In my case, I was on the school wrestling team while being a pioneer/LDC volunteer. I was also elected as a MS while in my sophomore year of college.

@Amy Durage - - looking at normal kid play like it is all stupid nonsense and beneath them so that they don’t feel left out. As someone who was sexually abused as a kid that describes my mindset to a t, even now I struggle to express myself and have a bizzare double sides complex where I feel to digusting and worthless to particape with others but still view other people as stupid and inferior and beneath me.

Every smart kid is that way. I looked down upon most people because I learned to read early (age 3) and saw my peers as woefully ignorant. It's not about being "left out", it's about not having a damn thing in common. Yet, people like you accuse me of being traumatized, because you think female children can't be smart.

And as parents we observe friend behaviors and guide them to learn how to choose good friends but keeping them in a bubble ??? This is so cruel!!! I had my children in JW but I gave them leeway and even to go to school trips and parties! But with these Sophia and Caleb cartoons the new JW parents are becoming so strict🤦🏽‍♀️ in indoctrination!

@@migdaliafuentes1618 I has a similar upbringing but I can't imagine what the new hell is going to be for kids whose parents are in the religion, it just seems to be getting worse for them. If only they could be helped and their childhood didn't have to be stolen from them

I feel your pain. My son was just a teen when we came into the ‘truth’ he gave so much up including all his friends..only to find the young ones rejected him and made him feel terrible (for not being born in to their click)I feel bad for pushing him on service and everything else. Don’t hate yourselves. You did what you thought was right at the time. I was the kid in that situation, but I don’t blame mum for it. She used the religion as a crutch because of my abusive dad. We all have regrets. It’s ok to visit the past, just don’t live there with that guilt.

It's all about stripping away & beating down any glimpse of your authentic self. Individuality, personality, interests, self confidence, light, energy MUST be stomped out, as evil, or Worldly traits. These poor children look confused & utterly miserable. Encouraged to be constantly down on themselves & beating themselves up for ceaslessly making WT "saaaad". Like mice on a treadmill they don't understand, or remotely possess the ability to consider critically, let alone opt out of.

Unfortunately, that's how cults operate. They want everyone to interpret passages a certain way and that there should be no questioning of this interpretation. I'm glad to be part of a religion where questioning and discussing bible passages is allowed and even encouraged, and where schools are even created just for the sole purpose of arguing about interpretations.

I remember when I was waking up a channel that the brother used Lego characters I can’t remember the name of the channel but maybe someone will remember and Chan share it here if the channel still exists!

That's the way they are .I don't agree with any religion especially JWs being I had to grow up in the cult but at least other churches help their community ,feed the homeless ,have bake sales for charity ,have AA meetings in their church

Where is there facts of suicide being common in JWs?

I’m out but my husband is in still. We have one young child and there is literally NO kids for about 1 1/2 hr drive. We live in a rural area but he seems to think we should drive around to find a friend. Meanwhile at her school there are tons of good kids she already is friends with. But he doesn’t want her to see those kids outside of school. It’s so backwards!!! I’m like I am not driving all over the earth so my daughter can have one friend. This video is crazy… she can’t participate in the Science Fair???? It seems to be the organization is getting stricter.

Like Loyd has mentioned in previous videos, Jehovah's Witnesses highjack the grieving process with this nonsense. On top of that people in the Org have stayed simply because they wanted to see their dead loved ones again to the detriment of their living family members.

It will. Like Jesus was here on earth, he resurrected some dead. Just like that happened, it'll happen again.

@@lugi25 if Jesus truly resurrected the dead he would have been considered highly valuable, he would never have been put to death. The narratives of the bible has been purposely concocted to promote Satan as the true God of devine love, and much of the bible is not authentic.

Kids have to be wary of science because they might learn about evolution.
