Just letting you all know I made an editing error in this one. I accidentally cut out the commentary for Nick Frasso along with the highlight video for Gabriel Gonzalez. I spent all day editing it, so I slipped up on that. I apologize. As for Frasso, I’m really excited for him. Big build, great velocity and nasty stuff. He simply needs to prove can be durable, as he hasn’t touched 100 innings yet.
The next wave of prospects in the AL East is gonna be so fun to watch for years to come. Jackson Holliday, Marcelo Mayer, Jasson Dominguez, Roman Anthony, Kyle Teel, Samuel Basallo, Junior Caminero, you name it. It’s gonna be so fun.
Thanks for showing Amador some love! Quick note on Fernandez, he’s dropped about 20 spots because he was not good in AA last year, but look at the numbers he put up in A+ and you’ll see the potential. Not to mention he has a great arm in right.
Jett Williams got us Mets fans hyped. Just turned 20. Started last year in Low A, played half a season with an 830 ops, went to High A and took it by storm, 7 homers in 35 games. Over a 1K OPS. Ended the season with 6 games in AA. He talks about wanting to reach Majors by end of 2024 which seems extremely lofty, but I would not put it past him the way he's been working.
I love your commentary What I would like to see is a comparison vs teams we are competing agaist in our own division I am a Pirate fan how are we doing against Mil, Chc, Cin And Stl?
Orioles will grab the number 1 overall prospect for a 4th year in a row with Samuel Basallo. Adley Rutschman, Gunnar Henderson, Jackson Holliday and now potentially Samuel Basallo. WOW
Do you think Noah Schultz is ace material because every pitcher on the Sox main roster most likely will be moved except for crochet. So if Schultz gets the call in the next year do you think he has he has a chance to be an ace
Langford didn’t play in triple A all year however he did play a lot of Double A and after the season ended there he was promoted for 5 game to triple A. And honestly I’d start him in triple A this year if he doesn’t make opening day
Not a Red Sox fan but Kyle teel is a prospect I’ve loved since his college days. Any clue why he only played only 26 games last year? Was he injured? I’d guess that’s the case because of his subpar power production in comparison to what he can do. Still think he’s probably the best hit-tool catcher and should be ranked higher.
You skipped #80 Nick Frasso Not surprised the a Red Sox fans doesn’t want to shine a light on a Dodger Prospect! (Lol jk. I’m sure it was a simple mistake)
Holidays power rating is inflated. Big time. See him play every single game in Norfolk. He’s something else for sure, but I personally think they’re rushing him and I’m worried he just might not be quite proven at AAA yet. He was really good and got better each game but the power is warning track. The plate discipline reminds me of adley and his swing is so buttery like gunnars. But he was AWFUL in the field. Awful
His power is more of a projection. He should fill into it. Probably that one game he was in the field is my guess. The highlights I’ve seen he looks great.
Can't wait for Xavier Isaac and Junior Caminero to be hitting back to back dingers for years to come in the new stadium when it opens in 2028 and even before that. We don't need W****r F****o with the talent in our farm
Cool cause we'll have a new rotation of top prospects that'll produce at the same rate on their rookie contracts by then so we won't have to spend millions on declining players 🤣 Look what happened when we let longoria, crawford, price, and more go. They all declined heavily after leaving the Rays. We know when it's time to let a player go.@@unkledoda420
If we look back in 10 years if the orioles don't have 3 championships then something went horribly wrong. What is that team right now lol. They are about to have a 3rd straight rookie superstar and still have 4 other top ranked prospects. And this is a team that already had a lot of talent that will transition to being great vets for them as they start calling up the young guys. We might be witnessing the new Houston Astros. Who remembers the Astros before Altuve. They were the worst team in baseball for like 4 year then had like 10 prospects back to back to back and have been a staple in the playoffs ever since. The Orioles feel like that start their dominance last year and won't look back.
