REVIEWING THE NEW B&BW SUMMER COLLECTION | DUPE ALERT | MINI RANT 

The audio did not sync correctly towards the end of the video and I could not fix it, so I apologize!

I’m all for the dupes because I’m not buying the expensive options. However, I want Wrapped In Vanilla and Fall In Bloom. They need to bring them back permanently. Period.

11:03 BOARDWALK MARSHMALLOW CLOUDS and WRAPPED IN VANILLA!!! That’s was I want. As for the dupes, I don’t necessarily mind it because I can get a 62 dupe, which I love, at a cheaper price ($5.95 or less sale). But I too am tired of the same scents over and over again.

I agree with you 💯 sis!! Like WHY NOT bring back scents we been asking for?! Like who is behind the scenes that makes the final decision on what doesn't come back n what does! Like it really grindes my gears!!!😤🤬🤦‍♀️🤯

THANK YOU!!!!!!! I swear I remember when I used to be able to go to Bath & Body, do the B3G3 and it'd be like $35 bucks max. It is freakin RIDICULOUS paying almost double that for some freakin lightly scented water. I don't know when B&BW fell off their rocker, but I only buy during the $4.95/$5.95 sales or SAS. I'm just curious how high they're gonna keep pushing these prices..? $18.95 for a body mist, what's next $20? $22? $25? GIRL BYE. Sorry, all these ridiculous price hikes got me ready to rumble these days.

Totally agree. I don’t mind dupes, but give the people what they want. We don’t want cucumber melon. We want wrapped in vanilla.

Rant is RIGHT ON POINT!! They would make just as much money with ORIGINAL fragrances, & classic scents that us LOYAL customers CONTINUE to ask for😡😠🤷🏽‍♀️🤦🏾‍♀️

I agree 100%. What I would like to see is something banana, or a fluffy marshmallow, or bring back a fragrance I missed out on when it was available. Like Bubble Gum Pop or Beach Nights 🥲

Hello! B&BW's employee here......... If you buy a $16.95 fragrance mist during a $5.95 mist sale you CAN bring it back and exchange it for ANY other mist, even the $18.95 ones!!!! Because the $5.95 sale applies to ALL mists!

I dont even understand the point of duping SDJ. Like you're right about it being not that big of a price difference these days, and if i want an SDJ body and hair mist, I'll just get the OG. I would much rather b&bw give us something new new or bring out the FAVS!

I don't mind them duping high end fragrances and I don't mind the sol de janiero dupes, ($24 for 3.0 is wild) I really want them to bring back Amber & Argan back .

I agree totally agree with your rant. BBW prices (especially body mists) are all over the place and I hate it when I can't use my rewards. I did purchase Pink Paradise and Vacation Vibes travel size using a free travel size coupon (that I somehow got in the mail and I rarely get one). They are good dupes but not as long lasting and strong as the original. I wouldn't get the BBW versions full price. As always, thank you for sharing your thoughts on these dupes.

I'm excited because I don't pay Sol de Janeiro prices. I don't think they're worth the price, but I'll happily pay 5.95 for a body splash 🎉🎉

The whole point of buying fragrance mists for me is to get new scents. Good perfume releases don't happen too often so body mists offer variety for collectors in the meantime, as well as more affordable options. I don't mind a few high end dupes but not a majority of dupes.

Reading the comments...they are bringing back Madagascar Vanilla for SAS. Ive read people calling for that for years. But agree would love Wrapped in Vanilla and Bonfire Bash back

In Canada especially they are a good option be because it’s 50 dollars for the 8 ounce over double the price of bath and body works mist

I agree 💯 with your rant!!! Now I'm all for a good dupe but bring back the scents we asked for. I only purchase during the SAS. Thats usually when i rack up bc I purchase for me and my daughter so these dupes work for me bc I will not purchase a $300 Tom Ford fragrance for a 16yr old. But I will purchase the dupe for her LOL. But BBW hear our cry! Bring back the good ones!

I totally agree. Bath & Bodyworks need to give the customers what they are asking for instead of giving us scents that most of us already have. It is just redundant! I may get the creams during SAS, but other than that, I am not shopping with them.

I think Vacation Vibes is closer to Sunset Glow then to Cheirosa 62. I also think it’s great that i’ll get to have a cheap matching lotion/body butter/oil etc. for my Rio Radiance body mist!

So agree with your rant. Why make a dupe of something that’s already not that expensive and then you make a much weaker version? BBW used to be a trendsetter and other companies would try to dupe them. They should try to be original again. Such an obvious money grab. I get it, but it’s insulting.

I love your rants you had me🤭. They know that people trying to save some money, so duping some of the girlies favs and to save some money, is probably why they continue to keep duping, but why SDJ? Like you said it’s too many companies out here duping body mist, hell even duping BBW mist, so it was pointless. BBW needs to get back in the lab and focus on making their mist last like it used to back in the day and quit playing with the formula. Bring back some OGs and NEW scents and quit playing.

I'm miffed that all the body butters for this collection are glotions. I'm tired of the glitter and then they added it to oils. We couldn't have one without glitter, smh.

Completely agree with you. Nice to hear a youtuber finally mentioning and scoffing at the B3get2 thing that showed up, I couldn't believe it when I saw that instead of B3get3. Prices are getting out of control upwards to $20 and all different price points for the same damn thing, stupid and makes no sense. I still don't like how different stores aren't aligned on exchange/return policies, frustrating for customers. It should be any product can be exchanged using the actual ticket price towards any other items ticket price when exchanged without a receipt, not sale price and the exact same type of product. Anyway, companies are getting greedier and greedier and trying to slip a few price bumps/increases here and there hoping we don't notice. It's weird, for 2 winter SAS's in a row we had the prismatic stars,golden eclipse, and sapphire moon, now last year summer SAS & this year we are getting whipped coconut milkshake, cotton candy clouds, and fruity sherbet scoop again, why? Plus stupid cucumber melon again. Ugggh, if they keep this up it'll take forever to see our favorite scents return.

Now this is just my opinion, but I feel like if BBW is going to dupe SDJ they should have duped the limited edition discontinued summer mists they put out and prob will never bring back. Like Bikini Season, When in Rio, or Tropical Nights to name a few. I'm sure everybody has their favorites. But there is still a market for those because A LOT of people could not get their hands on some of them, including myself, because they sold out so fast. DUPE SOME OF THOSE! But I do still appreciate BBW for saving us some money on the core line.

Excellent review!! I would possibly be more interested in these dupes if I could use my rewards on the associated body creams…..but I can’t 🤨 And exactly like you stated…the original is NOT that expensive soooooo I’ll stick with the originals 🤷🏾‍♀️

1 thing is u never are supposed to buy bath and body works at full price u wait until they have a sale $5.95 to be exact and when that goes to under $7 a bottle and is exactly sol de janiro I would say that is a WIN!!! HOWEVER I agree with u give us some new scents give us Banana Taffy !

Sunset gelato by Victoria secret is a much better dupe to cherosa 62. I was hoping vacation vibes would have a cream or lotion but all we got was a jar of wet glitter so I passed on the collection all together and ran to miss vicky to get what I needed cause that bum bum cream is expensive. But I agree instead of duping they need to just bring back what we’ve been asking for or give us something new

Does anyone buy a BBW full price? I wait for a sale...always. or at least a 20% coupon which they give out all the time. But agree id rather buy a stronger mist. I cant spray continuously all day

I won't be picking up the new dupes but I did get some of the luxury dupes...why didn't they do body wash and lotion? I feel half dressed if I can't layer.

These were available in my store during b3g3 sale, but not many people were picking this line. I don't know why. The whole counter wall full just a couple may be gone. The reason may they are very lightly fragranced. And nothing exciting about this line as ppl already know how they are gonna smell like. I my unbiased opinion as I don't have sdj mists, solar shines smells like chemical bug spray, pink paradise is just another fruity floral with dragon fruit which I am not a fan of, and vacation vibe is too amber heavy and less gourmand. I am very disappointed with this collection. Bbw could do much better than this.

I personally really like having SDJ in my collection. I mean the dupes are cool. But, I really don’t mind paying $38.00 for the SDJ. That’s just my preference 🤷🏽‍♀️.

The companies could never get Sol De Janeiro’s money cuz none of the dupes are hittin’ like the original(s), imo. 😩😂

Pink paradise and solar shine is going back to the store😂😂 they do not last at all. Pink paradise reminds me of in the stars/cloud which i dont need another scent like that lol n solar shine is way to of a toasted coconut and i just cant get jiggy with 😂😂😂 vacation vibes is the only one im keeping cuz it reminds me of the #62 and sunset glow without the cherry seltzer

This collection was just OK for me. The only one I like is Vacation Vibe but I can totally tell the difference between that and Cheirosa ‘62. It’s been my signature spring/summer scent for a few years so I’m very sensitive to what’s real and what isn’t. I will say I like it a heck of a lot better than Sunset Gelato from VS.

On the price I talked about that very thing in my posting when they had the testers out at the store that's how I saw they were $17.95. I purchased the mists that were on the sale that were $17.95 because the manager said it would be best if I do that, because I was about to pick up three $18.95 so because they had the testers out that's how I saw the price and I got two of the Kiwi something and one of the pink pineapple then I went back and exchanged it. I bought one butter I'm going to hold on to that receipt cuz if they have another sale I'm going to get the adjustment for that. I do want the one shower gel and the two Butters that I'm missing I do want the oils and I think there might have been one more thing or not but I will get each piece by piece or sale depending on how they do it but I'm worried about the oil selling out so I might just get those out right

I got two of the Sol De Janeiro dupes. I purchased Pink Paradise🦩🌺🦩& Vacation Vibes🌴🌴🌴. I just can't afford to keep buying these products full price. It's absolutely ridiculous and insane to me. I have to spray these body mists multiple times a day it's watered down and over priced! I'm going to SAS and I hope there's an upcoming room spray sale. I'm taking a MAJOR break from B&BWORKS!🧼🧴🧼

I donot have any Sol de Janerio products. Zero. I just do not have the spending money. Im all for Dupes! God bless dupes. I only get B&B works fragrance mist if under 7.00. Candles under 12.00, one per season. I think they have enough original fragrances. If its not enough, Vicky has a bunch too. ❤ from Phoenix 🏜
