I agree - Kayali marketing is tricky. I think they play up notes they think will sell, but that’s not the prominent notes in the fragrances. I’ve learned, I have to smell these in person and not listen to any promotional stuff for this house.

Thanks for the honest review. I heard a few people say it smells a lot like La Belle. So this weekend I sprayed LaBelle and bubble gum pop from BBW and it smelled divine. For free 99, I will rock that combo and tell myself it’s Kayali Vanilla Candy Rock Sugar😂😂😂

This Kayali release reminds me of Yum Pistachio as well. Most of the people who are raving about it received it in PR and everyone else is giving mixed reviews. I’ll definitely start with a travel size for this one. Thanks for sharing.

I dont think that you should have to layer..a perfume should be able to stand on its own like back in the day I may buy a small bottle of 42 and a big bottle of JPG La belle I do ❤ Vanilla 28 and have a 100ml bottle People are layering all kinds of scents to make them last ..you shouldn't have to do that Thanks for your review I have 3 bottles of pop jelly

The name, packaging and scents are every bit my jam - I am sucker for sweet scents and iridescent glass. It's so beautiful. I'm glad I watched this, because I have plenty of other scents of the same vibe and do not "need" this. Thanks Shaughnessy!

Congrats on getting it early!!! This sounds good. I love love pear scents. La Belle is amazing, I have a travel and hope to get a fb someday. Pear Crème Brûlée is actually one of my fave body mists and I wish I had a backup. This sounds good and I’m glad the longevity is there. I was hoping the bubblegum note would have been more prominent because I don’t have a gum perfume. That being said lol, I’ve already decided I Need to be on a no buy for the next couple months. So I’m hoping somebody dupes her by July lmao. There are just too many new perfumes and I need to use and enjoy what I have.The FOMO is real though. 😂. Love your honesty. Since being subscribed to your channel you have never steered me wrong. I have 3 of Kayali fragrances and they ok, but not ground breaking for me. I might get the travel size later on, but definitely not buying the big bottle.

I love the scent 😊 yes for the price I thought the smell was mediocre but this is my first Arab perfume and I was not disappointed 😊 will continue to buy her line.

You have to revisit it after a few weeks, first time I smelled Utopia and Deja-Vu, I hated them, they gave me grandma-vibes. Few weeks later I sprayed again, and I felt in love! I became a Kayali fan.

For anyone who likes the La Belle DNA and is considering it- La Belle lasts alllllllllll damn day. Kayali is always the same story, an hour later and I’m wondering if I sprayed myself with water

Oh girl this is what I was afraid of 😂 when I first saw it leaked on Reddit the only notes given was bubblegum, rock sugar, and vanilla cream…. That would have been awesome lol

I really enjoy this one! I’ve never smelled la belle so idk if they smell similar to my nose lol. I get a lot of the jellybean, ylang ylang, marshmallow, rum, vanilla cream, bubblegum, violet and jasmine. Super sweet and yummy. I don’t think it smells similar to vanilla 28 or silk santal, definitely one that stands on its own for me ❤😂

I was begging my husband to buy this for me for Mother’s Day all day while at work before it sold out on Sephora! He didn’t say what size but 😂 hopefully he came through with the 3.4 oz. I love the original Vanilla 28 and fell in love with Deja Vu White Flower when I bought a used bottle off Mercari. Them layered together is like an aphrodisiac and I am so glad you found the likeness in them and the new Vanilla Candy flanker. Thanks for sharing and another great review ❤!

Thank you for your honest review. I was ecstatic when I saw this was coming out but it sounds like I’m definitely going to have to spray this on and see how I like it. I didn’t pick up the pistachio gelato either. Kind of disappointing they don’t smell like I would imagine them smelling.

Hey doll 👋🏾 I was gifted La Belle in PR and when I say I despised it lmaoo. It never made it to my channel. I gave it away. So for me this is nothing like it. I def think as with yum, as this sits it will def get better. Although this is very sweet to me. But I agree that Although its sweet its still grown and not child like. 🎉❤

Have you thought about doing shop your stash vids duping popular/discontinued scents? You seem to have a huge knowledge about scents and seeing you list all the different scents/combos to achieve the same rock sugar fragrance def inspired me to start playing around with the scents I have (newbie over here lol) to see what combos I can create since all these shops seem to be duping each other lol

I never owned Paul Gaultier la Belle perfume but thought about it. So I'll definitely be getting the new Kayali one instead but in a travel size to test it. I've been a pear lover lately so I think this might be a winner for me.

I was able to get the fragrance early as well! Tbh it’s ok. I will not repurchase. I thought the fragrance would be lighter. Initially when I sprayed it, it reminded me of invite only and vanilla 28 with that candied pear note.

I like this release. Was I expecting something else? Yes; Am I upset with it? No; I agree it smells like la belle however, on my skin la belle is harsh so this is my way of experiencing la belle without it being too cloying. Based off of my collection I can see myself getting a 1.7oz during Black Friday or friends and family. It’s not full price run out and get right now worthy

This is good because most of the perfumes that I like are the ones people don’t seem to like so I’m going to get this 😂 Everyone dragged vanilla Royale and invite only and loved Eden juicy apple and I couldn’t stand juicy apple, I’m a 31 year old women not a 15 year old teen girl 🤣 I like grown scents that aren’t too ridiculously sweet but smell good and I love vanilla.

So was the dent from you using it or was it like that when you purchased it??? Every bottle I’ve seen reviews on has that same amount missing

Kay Ali bottles always come with large dents like someone already used it.

Shaughnessy the disappointment with this new Kayali fragrance I’m all set with them. It did not blow me away at all. I really thought it was going to be fun & flirty nope not at all. The dry down gave me a headache.

I’m not into pear so I might be sadly disappointed in this fragrance. I’m bummed. Was super excited & hoping for more of a sweet candy, sugar, cotton candy, caramel, marshmallow & vanilla cream notes to stand out a lot in it. Thank you for such a DETAILED review. Appreciate you so much.

I have not decided yet if I want it. If I get it it will be just the small one.

I’ll combine silk Santal and DUA cotton candy so it’ll be without the pear note. However I will try it in store. I haven’t tried la belle.

It surprised me, I like it. I didn't think I would like it. I would say it's one you have to try for yourself and spray on your skin. It's what I was expecting when I purchased Vanilla 28. It smells sweet to me so try for yourself.

I’m in love with LaBelle but it’s the sexy sultry part that I’m into. What I heard you say is use LaBelle & Pop Jelly together and boom I have it 🤣 I’m not playing with Kayali 😂 then you said it’s light lol nope but the bottle is gorgeous. She almost got me saying it was bubble gum 🤣

I got mine on the glitch too. I like it but I don’t love it . And due to spraying a lot my bottle is almost done And I will not buy a 100ml when there’s other niche Fragrances I want.

To me it smells soooo much like ❤️La Belle Le Parfum Version❤️ with the bubblegum vibe of 💓Mancera Velvet Vanilla💛 ...not bad, but I don't need a full bottle because I have the other two in my collection

I only own Kayali Vanilla 28. I don't have anything else to compare it to. I can always return it.

I blind bought this and I went to Sephora to smell it ... It's smells good but I prefer the yum pistachio scent.

Vanilla Rock Candy reminds me of a perfume from 1980s Forever Krystle not the same but similar

I get 70% LaBelle. 20% Vanillla 28, 10% Silk Santal. I was disappointed because I fo not like La Belle

Ok I went and smelled Labelle and she is right. I didn't have Labelle in my collection so I purchased Kayali.

I was kinda disappointed with the fragrance. My mother and I went to go smell it today. Not that the scent was bad but definitely not what I was expecting. I guess I was expecting for it to be bubbly, sugary and yummy. I was thinking it was gonna smell similar to ellis Brooklyn sweet or more intense version of JC sucre. I definitely smell the La belle JPG you mentioned but mixed with jimmy choo rose passion! I just smell the jasmine/cashmere wood and tonka. It smells powdery in a way. I’m sad because I want to love it but I already have a smell like this in my collection. :( Thanks for the real review!!!

Growing up we had a pear tree and my mom would make preserves. The smell was divine, and the smell was NOT le belle😂. If this smells like la belle, I think I’ll have to try first cause I don’t like that.

I brought the big bottle and the fragrance just doesn’t last at all! I just wore it alone. You shouldn’t have to layer a fragrance in order for it to perform. The fragrance should be able to stand alone. I will be returning my big bottle back to Sephora

This sounds like such a disappointing release. I love La Belle, but don't need another similar fragrance to it. I'm wondering if it's really close to Zara Sultry Pear because that reads as La Belle light to me. I was really hoping for a sugary bubble gum type scent!

I accidentally ordered that big kayali 28 and was disappointed its not better than bath and body works Vanilla Noir or Fresh Vanilla mists or the original body shop vanille floral. Kayali 28 to me smells more like a lighter milder version of Estee Lauder youth dew.

People seem overly excited but it's hard to tell if they're being genuine. I'm going to get my nose on it. But idk if I need this in my collection

Thanks for your review, I’m thinking I can skip this now. To me Kay Ali always smells like the notes they say + a dank thrift store. The only one I really love is the wedding silk santal. But a strong pear note à la the BBW pear creme brûlée spray (which I loathe) is definitely not for me. And I agree about the marketing because I definitely wanted the perfume based on they were presenting. I thought it would be more along the lines of Sylar Boardwalk Delight.

My last 3 bottles of Kayali’s atomizers sprays out too much. I’m so pissed about that. I like la belle, but that one for me is more late night or cooler days. I am interested in purchasing this. With most of my fragrances and def Kayali , I let them macerate. Just as with yum perfume ppl didn’t like/luv it until the weather warmed up.

Pop Vanilla is the one that I have the most than one backpacks. It’s that good to me. I remember you loving it

I understand your disappointment . I hate when that happens and something is a Dupe to something you already own . That’s why I wait for Sephora to return it . I purchased hufflepuff from HOS due to the hype and was pissed when it smelled like Billie elish which I ALREADY owned smh not unique at all

I had never smelled la belle until I stopped this lady in a store asking what she was wearing. Smells so good! But my body chemistry doesn’t like it. I thought vanilla candy would be lighter, fluffy, candy .
