You got to try TeamSport Hull, Very quick track with only like 3 breaking but they are just jab of break rest is coast, really quick track but you got to be careful of overtaking but i think you can make it happen, also good community!
Glad we came to pretty much exactly conclusion apart from the karts, tracks just boring and mid at best, I love the sodi's and beg Leicester gets them and the actual track side is good but can't view it as you mentioned, staff we're also great for me, asked if I could come down early due to no one booking on the night I went and gave me lots of extra time as a thank you and just we're super chill the whole time chatting etc
Seems like a fair summary overall, can't really say I can personally disagree with much of it. For as competitive as the times were at the top in qualifying & each race, you really start to see the issues with the new layout combined with the torque of the electric karts making it extremely difficult to actually overtake and really DO anything. I'd previously done somewhere in the realm of over 450 sessions on the old layout, and I just think this layout ain't as good as I initially thought it was compared to the original circuit. I do hope the international circuit (or as TeamSport like to call it the members circuit now apparently) will make it a little more interesting, but I do kinda feel a little pessimistic about it having driven it with Rob. It's fun, but doesn't feel like it has the longevity that the old track had. Glad we were able to make up for the issues with the track & karts at least, the staff & members are always top notch!
It's a shame I didn't try the track before the refurb so I could compare, yeah the overtaking opportunities don't seem seem to be much, even Hannah said she found it fairly easy to defend even though she knew the karts behind were quicker... But that's also an electric problem too with its instant tourqe... But you lot are awesome up there! Best members out of any track 😁
Great review bud! 👍Obviously, my opinion was different on the karts, even having just driven the Biz electrics a few hours prior. But as you say, it's very much down the drivers preference. One of the first things we commented on when walking in, was the amount of wasted space and boring layout!
Thank you sir! Even Hannah says she prefers the Sodi's over the Biz karts... But yeah it's all preference, maybe with practice I'll start to like them more 😅
Agree with everything you’ve said in this video. The track layout at the minute is very stale. Rumour has it they’re only going to be using the full layout after BIKC locals so don’t need to worry about going back anytime soon 🤣
totally agree with your views on the track, pretty boring and simple layout, really wish they kept the old layout with the new electric karts! Shame they’ve actually shortened the track when I don’t think the combat karts even seem that popular. The staff here are mega though and it was nice to meet yous on the day as we were heading out from our session bud
They've even got all that space where the arcade machines are to use up which they could of used for the combat karts and extended the main track more 😅 Yeah was good to meet you too dude, even if you thought I was Rob goes racing to begin with 😉😉😂😂
@@RBRacing55 no worries mate 👍🏻one day we will have a skid around so I can learn from a top driver like yourself 👍🏻and Hannah is qty and super quick 👊🏻
Gutted you personally didn't get out of it what i hoped you would mate but all your ratings are fair as.. Hopefully it can win you over especially when they open the international circuit. Buzzing you both had a good time with all the members though, top vibes at Liverpool always. Hope to see you back soon👍 👍
I'm sure we'll both be back when the international track opens up, might have to do a couple of open sessions before hand too to practice the kart more 😅😅
