Rich dodged real questions from his viewers for MONTHS, hiding behind "muh kids" and attacking others. The idea he'd be honest in a doc is laughable. The doc didn’t need his input, it’s based on the public narrative HE CREATED. Anyone expecting him to be upfront now is foolish.

I watched this guy for years. I miss the old fashioned videos where he talked about video games and cultural stuff and didn't show his face. It's sad to see RU-vidrs I grew up with ruin their reputations like this. I would be ashamed if I acted the way I did on camera like Rich, hell I couldn't even do it if I was paid.

I disliked the fact that his thumbnail was a cartoon of himself which was skinny and chiseled, but his real face was so fat. Why not just be true to yourself for who and what you are?

Rich hiding behind his kids is really dumb. When you're bad at your job, you get fired. Rich is a extremely boring podcaster. Dude pauses more than William Shatner. I tried to watch his streams when he started but after the 3rd OnlyPhil stream I was done. He says he wants to be like Howard Stern, but 3 things. Howard's better at it, and there's only one Howard, and he isn't a one trick pony. Also besides the point, Howard is a crappy role model. Trying to be store brand Howard Stern was never going to work.

As someone who was interviewed by Joon the King for one of his videos (the Game Dude one to be specific) it seems weird to me that Rich feels like he's owed an interview. I've only seen Joon interview people when public information is hard to come by and everything Rich ever did is very much out in the open. Joon is also someone who goes out of his way to make sure his videos are as factual as possible so if Rich is scared of anything, I can only imagine it's the truth.

I’m so confused on how he’s just gonna go cold turkey on his channel It doesn’t make any sense why he wouldn’t just try to upload videos like the old day and do one a week that takes no effort to do. 5:20 Shoot. I mean, yeah, they don't have to, but getting the perspective straight from the person you're doing a doc on does make it a lot more interesting. It's like when TomDark did a doc on that Vegan Bodybuilder, Chris Chan with TheGamerFromMars, or Idubbz with his Airsoftfatty doc. I’ve probably butchered a lot of their names, but the interview doesn’t have to save their career or paint them in a good light. It just gets their perspective on certain topics on the doc.

I don't even think Rich is a bad guy. He's just someone with not enough impulse control, to the point where it's self-destructive. We've all been in situations where somebody tried to troll us and we wanted to type up an angry response, but most of us are able to think to ourselves "just what am I doing here? "before we press send. As a content creator that's ESPECIALLY important. I think Rich just fell prey to instincts that, as a content creator, will kill off your career more quickly than the thought of Boogie2988 kills off arousal in any woman.

I think that’s fair. Rich tries to sell shirts with Phil’s “bust” moment. Rich watches DSP videos and clips every time he streams. Rich tried to send him a PC (the same one he used to back door Jay) to access his stuff. Phil firing back at Rich is warranted at this point.
