Ben Ferguson was so sweet when I had the chance to see them yrs ago. I'm not sure about what's gonna happen with them playing again. if you want, go to fb and look up Justin Holman. He was their singer. He's a real nice guy, as well as family man now raising a family, and has dedicated his passion to the lord. He comes on facebook live every now and again and talks to everyone, etc. Be well man.
A "Holman" album of Christian rock is behind the promised timeline, but look for it. Justin's voice is so special. I can't wait to hear him sing again!

They have just released two new singles this year to anyone who still wants to listen to them on Spotty :) 'My Imagination' is a fantastic song, and I am hoping that they are planning on a new album. Great band!
Every time I hear this song, I get a mixture of nostalgia and sadness. This is a perfect example of a band with mountains of potential splitting up way before their time. So many bands overstay their welcome... Revis did the opposite. I am so grateful for what they've given us in their short lifespan, and I hope for a day when they may come together again. Until that day, I will never stop listening, never stop coming back, and never stop singing their praises. I will always be a fan.

Wow, it’s been ten years and still I’m listening to their music. It never gets bad, it has aged like a fine wine. My last comment on here was from high school, now I’m out of college and have a job. I know it’s probably unlikely that anyone from the band will see this but, y’all defined what kind of music I like. I have listened to you guys since before I could see over the dashboard of my dad’s car, and now, I’m sitting behind the wheel of my own typing this. You’ve made music that I will listen to until I’m old. God Bless all of you, and wherever you all are, know that you at least impacted me. :)

another amazing song by Revis. i know Justin is the Worship Leader at his church, but i sure wish Revis would get back together and make more of this phenomenal music.
I literally just found Revis like five minutes ago on RU-vid while I was browsing. And to hear that they don't make music anymore is very disappointing. They're Great!!
This band has got to bring their music back. The music they created in 2010 - 2011 gives me goosebumps and is by far their best work. It doesn't need to sound exactly like Places For Breathing for it not be great work. They're really missing a huge opportunity and doing themselves and their fans a big disservice by not continuing to create new music.
Met Justin and his wife a couple years back at the Bonan Center in Harrisburg Illinois. He is a very talented drawer and was there selling his art. I didn't understand how big he actually was. I'm talking about height. He now runs a church music ministry in southern Illinois.
7th anniversary of the music video. You never get to hear often great music like this. Hopefully, in the future, we can see this band perform together somehow someway.

Revis is such an influential band that's why I was sad when they broke up because they gel so well together. The band's sound is truly one of a kind there will never be another Revis. Their music is more than just songs but an artistic expression that connects to the listener's soul. They way their music makes me feel is beyond words. Revis is real music not like all that recycled garbage out there.
There’s an interview with Justin and he said it was due to several issues. One, Justin was newly married with a child coming and after their first tour was over he spent a lot of time with his wife back in Illinois. The rest of the band started getting pissed because he wasn’t spending a lot of time with them for the next record. Two, Justin hated the new material they were writing because he felt they were trying to hard to make obscure music due to the band not wanting be labeled just an alternative rock band. When they finally brought the new stuff to the label, they told the band it was no good and they dropped them. Since then there has been just animosity amongst the band members and they are never able to reconcile.
Love this song, so powerful! What a voice and the arrangement, everything about this song. R u kidding me! Wish they could have worked it all out. Such talented musicians!

Still have no idea how this song didn't make it on to Places For Breathing, without doubtn one of Revis' best songs. Shame they didn't make more music, one of the best post grunge bands and Justin is definitely one of the best vocalists out there today
So glad to see a new music vid from Revis! Awesome! Places For Breathing set all sorts of standards for all the work I do and will continue to do...I don't care if I sound like a total groupie right now, just super stoked

Damn. You guys inspired me unspeakably ever since Places. I TRULY believe that album was FULL Grammy worthy. So, so composed, and especially wonderfully produced & mastered. Places for Breathing is a fucking audiophiles dream. Seriously. It’s Peter Gabriel SO good. Bands are sickening hard to maintain for sure. But...if there is ANY chance you’ll make more music, Earth would be a better place by far. The talent shown on Places only makes me sick about the music industry. You should have EASILY been extremely respected. Really, really shitty. Regardless, thank you for the hours and countless hours of enjoying your intricacies, groove & harmonies. Your songwriting and performance has made my life better. Truly. REVIS is a band we need back. You guys are fucking music genius. Period.

hell yea,im glad to c an amazing band back at it.loved theyre first record,was sad they broke up.but theyre back,and with music just as good if not better than the first.keep it up guys!
