I cannot emphasise enough that you should be comfortable with answering all style of questions since Edexcel can choose any topics 1-10 for papers 1 and 2, but there are clear patterns from past paper 1 exams so in those weeks/days before the exam you should master high yield topics (as shown in the video). Good luck
bro as someone doing a level bio chem and maths, your channel is everything someone could wish for omds !!! for reference i NEVER comment but i have to thank you in advance :)))
@@Harry_B647 IDK I disagree there, that was one of the easiest ones I've done. There was no super hard ladder question and the marks were all broken down so easily.
the reason the grade boundaries were higher in 2018 was because only further maths students took the papers hence the grade boundaries were higher! I hope that makes sense. thank you for the video :)
I have all the papers downloaded as PDF's, and each time I finish an exam yr (p1-3) I take screenshots of the questions i did worst on per paper, and in Microsoft publisher make a 'frankenpaper' of ~100 marks- lets me do only the hard questions again under timed conditions.
Everyone that reads this, learn from Lola :) You don't have to replicate what Lola did, but identify and learn from your mistakes, and you will improve. Good luck!
Thanks for this, ever since you did the first poll asking what to do after chemistry topic predictions, I've been waiting for this since I dont do biology. But this is finally here so thank you.
@@mayo2264 honestly mate you're way better off just doing the past papers questions and improving your maths skills than analysing the topics, it will literally take up all your time until the exam. That's my 2 cents. If you still wanna do it (which I advise against) I make a spreadsheet and check the questions, mark scheme, and examiners report + my own knowledge against the spec and text book and pick the topic from that.
Thanks! This is really helpful, although i was wondering why you would separate Paper 1 and Paper 2 because isn't it random which paper gets which topics?
These take me so long to do that if I combined paper 1 and 2 the video would release too late. There is still helpful paper 1 focussed topics in the video imo. good luck :)
is there a difference between paper 1 and 2? I was planning on finishng all the paper 1s tomorrow and leaving the paper 2s for next week(as I want to prioritise biology) but will this affect my chance of getting an A* and thanks btw this is such a goldmine of a video x
Is there any difference between paper 1 and paper 2?? they seem the same to me so i've just been doing paper 2 on top of paper 1 to revise for the first maths exam
They're both pure and can pull from any topic 1-10, so keep doing what you're doing :) I just looked at paper 1 to see high yield topic patterns that came up the most
Hi, please can you make paper walkthroughs for aqa chemistry, I know you said copy right but you did some questions already so wouldn’t it possible to do the whole paper and just not show the ms ?
Other channels have almost been deleted from RU-vid for doing full AQA papers so I am avoiding it. Would if I could :( I will probably have to delete the individual questions or make them paid entry soon that showed the actual exam paper question
