Really love the details on this figure, no one does weathering like Threea. Just goes to show how well these older Threea robots age compared to other 1/6 figures from that time, especially figures with a human head. The head sculpts have definitely gotten better over the years, but the robots sure are timeless! Thanks for giving us a better look at this guy!
Lvl 60 Squirtle well said. Yea i think threea does weathering better than hot toys too. Compared to the new mark 7, an older threea fig definitely beat hot toys weathering from this year too.
Thanks for going retro review on this guy, Threea never disappoints. I'm really upset I didn't pick up on this line at the time - Noisy Boy in particular looks amazing with all of the light up features.
Glitch969 you are very welcome, thank you for your support. Yea i too regret not getting noisy boy, cos that one does look amazing, but it was very expensive back when they came out.
Man, been thinking about this like all day. Once you get a taste of ThreeA.... That said, it's also interesting to hear how much lighter in weight they were back then. Is
Glitch969 hehe yea, i havent looked at this fig in a while and seeing it again really brings back my love for this fig and the movie. Yea now i really think this fig is light since its so big but yet so light
It’s been years since I’ve watched one of your vids. I’m glad to see you’re keeping up with the collecting. I want to get back into collecting, and perhaps, start sculpting figures as a hobby. Besides sh figurearts, what other quality brands do you recommend for figures? Thanks a lot
JFL S welcome back hehe. Glad to hear u r coming back. I have always wanted to sculpt, would be amazing to be able to sculpt my own head in toy form hehe. I really enjoy mezco, their figures are 1/12 scale and with actual fabric outfits too. They just announced they are making predator so thats very exciting to hear
JFL S i still like halo but there arent much new stuff out there except for the 1000toys master chief. As for predator...i cant wait to see the mezco version. Definitely will have to pick it up
WITHERAMBUSH 55 it is a bit tough, just slide it outwards towards u...straight out. U might have to wiggle it a bit to get it out but it is a slot that comes straight out. Just use finger nails if u have any that can grab onto the edges
WITHERAMBUSH 55 lol u gotta have a lot of patience and tiny fingers. Which i dont lol. So it did take a while for me to get the batteries in as well cos that area is so tiny
Own him and Midas... Fine "statue" but difficult to play with as some of their joints (like what u have there, in the leg) are very stiff. Affraid to break the material if I force them to move. And other joints, like in the arms, are loose. But since I got them at $150 each... then no complain at all :)
Raditya Perdana nice, yea at one point they were super cheap, i think thats when i picked up atom. But never saw noisy boy for cheap. Congrats on getting yours for cheap
