Not to misunderstand me I have respect for Martin. It’s never a random guy or the lucky one to become the heavyweight champion, lets be clear on it. What I meant is that he forces himself to stay tough, he even covers his face in his arms to blink if you observe it patiently. We all know, at least those who box, that the first thing which stops you in success is acting tough. Of course some people don’t act tough, they are “by nature” but it’s the attitude they force themselves into. We all know it’s no good for success. Never, doesn’t matter amateur, professional or just to stay fit. It slowly drains your energy and your will to be successful.

I respect any man who steps in the ring, amateur or pro; you're putting your life on the line, but, in hindsight, Martin turned out to be all talk and got stopped in two rounds, in his first defense of the IBF Heavyweight Title - in addition, he won it by default, on an ankle injury to his opponent, in a fight he wasn't necessarily winning. You'd have to say a paper champion if ever there was one.
