It's not a mistake. Shankar wants to show the difference between chitti and 2.0 . He wants to show that machines can be useful as well as destructive . That's why you see in the first encounter chitti tries to save as many as people but 2.0 doesn't care . which signifies the importance and dangers of machine or technology.
@@eaglemgtow2789sorry even I used to think like that but when 2.0 was released I missed that spark of Shankar which he masterfully presents through his storytelling but here in 2.0 he compromised storytelling for the sake of grand visuals whereas Rajamouli progressed in technical aspects in RRR as well as maintaining his original trademark of storytelling .I was really excited for 2.0 even thought it would be the next big thing after Baahubali but it turned out to be a movie with a childish storyline with grand visuals although the concept was good but it could have been much better. Let's see what he has stored for us in his upcoming movies Indian 2 and Game changer.
This battle was basically an ego fight between 2 villains, like proving the point who's the more powerful villain, the red chitti was itself the villain of Robot 1 so that's why Amy jackson hurts his ego so that he battles pakshirajan, he is not here to save people or anyone, he's here only to defeat pakshirajan, he don't care if anyone is dying because of him or getting hurt.
Absolutely true ,red chitti was villain in Robot but in 2.0 he becomes hero which he was not . Audience was kinda confused which is hero because pakshirajan is saving birds and killing people , 2,0also killing people . They showed chitti very weak
I think chitti 2.0 attacking people was good option Because 2.0 don't care about anyone If he not attacking There will be no difference between his old version

@Kibakibi the major reason why this movie lacks heart is because of Editor. Enthiran was edited by Anthony but it was approx 3 hours and gave emotional connect. In 2.0 Anthony, I don't know why, rushed to complete the movie in 2 hours 20 minutes that's why the directors cut, which included 2 beautifully shot songs as well, never released. It really lacked the time because I guess the VFX shots weren't completed and they released with rushed Version with main shots
Old movie me reality or technology ka interaction bahut acha tha but is movie me vfx heavy hone ki wajah se reality bhi fake lagti hai jaise city ke shors ya final battle ka stadium. And costum designing bhi bahut week hai kyuki bina wajah 2.0 ko yeh toy jesa look de doya jabki uska old look uski personality ko bahut justify karta tha

This movie was good in pieces. While Enthiran (robot) carried the concept, for a breathtaking climax with all those transformations. Also, Enthiran was very high on emotions and science. How AI with brain, can become a nightmare (same concept pf recently released Megan). What if machines develop feelings? Overall, 2.0 felt like a cheap Cameron movie. High on concept, but inconsistent vfx. But still I'm a big Shankar fan, and waiting for his new movies (Game changer and Indian 2) I would request you to make a breakdown of Akshay Kumar's transformation into Pakshirajan. That bad ass BMG when he is taking on chatti and revealing himself. One of the coolest shots of 2.0. Also the intro of this movie was really good.
the things i felt personality about this movie was it had a weird kind of screenplay and i found the overall lighting of this movie very off, cgi vfx animation was done greatly but with that lightning it still leaves an unrealistic remark.

Let me give you some background bro, 2.0 was not Chitti, it is an advanced version with a destructive chip..that is why it doesn't care about people, but chitti is a savior. To beat Pakshi Rajan, Doctor told Nila to insert that destructive chip and make him 2.0 from chitti, so that he can kill Rajan without even bothering about the doctor. You can see he also attacked doctor vasikaran
The main point is not about killing people but the way he killed them is unnecessary because in robot version 2.0 make transformation to tackle the obstacle more efficiently but in 2.0 movie he's just using old formation unnecessarily like the cage transformation is very good but sphere one and that gun formation is not good

One more thing is the climax mega robot of chitti is exact copy of The robot from the ending of the video game Matrix The Path Of Neo...even the scene with robot's sunglasses...the writers of the matrix movies broke the 4th wall to tell the audience that they changed the ending of the matrix Trilogy in this game.... Instead of Neo fighting a single smith...Neo fights a giant smith...!
I think at 10:43 chitti was not shown weak intentionally but instead he tried to land a final blow at pakshiraj and before he could land it his battery got so low that he was unable to attract all the things which we did earlier...also in the first movie there were many moments where his battery got low out of nowhere during crunch moments...maybe this was also one of them
Jai Jagannath Problem of Indian film industry is movie makers sapend most of the budget on stars salary/fees, that's why budget for VFX & CGI get less.
Gonna be brutally honest 2.0 is nothing as compared to Robot because the first movie was very humble and it had an emotional to it. Though 2.0 had Big budget but the makers really focused on VFX rather than story and because of that they didn't able to create the magic they had with the first one.
And vfx was also better in robot it looks more realistic and 2.0's lighting and vfx looked dull it's not as smooth and bright as the first one That's why nobody is able to make that kind of VFX till now. I feel sad that it didn't meet the expectations I waited 3 years to watch 2.0 in theatre as a first time theatrical experience cause I have never watched a movie in a theatre so I decided I will watch 2.0 only
I honestly felt inclusion of 3.0 was cool , they are cute and menacing and funny too , it provides a lighter moment in the climax . Also if we want to get into details, Regarding the stadium lighting , one point to note is, the stadium they show is Delhi's JLN Stadium, which doesn't have 4 lights at corner , but have lights surrounding the whole stadium, hence technically there might be no or minimum shadow, also the cars and vehicles they show in the abs of Chitti are not cars sold in india ( including one Fire Engine Truck) , they were mostly American which means they used on the stock free 3d models downloaded from some 3D asset website, which I feel they shouldn't have done coz for that large scene they could have done a little extra work and would have made some low poly , well textured , Indian vehicles

bro i agree with your 3.0 part that it was forceful to add that character in the movie Chitti 2.0 was shown very powerful and dangerous in the previous part of the movie but in 2.0 movie ..out of nowhere his battery got dead and he indirectly lost the fight with pakshirajan and if we talk about harming people director intentionally put that kind of shots cause to make sure to the audience that 2.0 is not a hero its still a harming, dangerous and self centred device which is fighting with pakshirajan for its ego to prove himself and neela that he is no 1 and undefeated showing 2.0 in the grey shade was intentional

I do not agree with most of the things said in this video, but I would like to use this space to say that this has to be the best movie in indian cinema vfx work wise. Nothing comes close. I watched it in 3D in theatre and the experience was so high standard which still has not been repeated. Literally nothing comes close, and the use of real d 3D was an absolute bang on creative choice!

Please make an in-depth analysis series for the Bahubali franchise. I think there are some really under-appreciated love for the vfx work and especially prabhas as an actor and what lengths he can go to (sad considering how it has been since though).
Hello @1:29, they are not countering statement, they infact aid each other. He just wrote the script / screenplay keeping 3D in mind, and script demanded 3D both are same, I mean he means the same. The script itself is written in such a way, it takes advantage of Real 3D
I personally like 3.0 but there is no active buildup for that. If it was established since the beginning of the movie it would have been more fun. They tried Big Hero 6. But failed badly.

Chitti doesn't care for human, so the firing scenes to the human and car attraction scene with human in it makes perfect sense but yes, wo jo gola pakhyi ke bina bhi har jaga fire kar rha hay wo thik nehi dikhaya, wo thik bola tumne, sirf pakhyi ko hi focus karke fire karna chahiye tha. Lekin wo karte agar koi insan karta hay, to chitti ko koi fark nehi padne wala tha.

Vfx is when u use video effects in editing like you edit on capcut trimming or resetting the clips where as Cgi is computer graphics mainly used for 3D animations and other computer generated stuff
