Honestly, I like the longer form and more in-depth content. It gave a very comprehensive overview of the product and helped me precisely pinpoint what kind of person the product would be for. Stay the course, the quality and attention to detail will win out in the end.
I've never seen a RU-vidr stating to watch his/her vids in the background. Solid lad, keep up your genuine work & your channel will grow bigger into due time!
Great that you posted this based on what you saw. Reflection and transparency is key. Here's to building a supportive and constructive community around your channel!
Keep up the good work! I really like your in-depth reviews. It is so lame when I watch other RU-vidrs getting sponsored, only give good reviews and never talk about the con. What's worst is all they do is "OMG look at this monitor!! it's so clear!!" and they know nothing technical about it.
I actually planned to buy Prism+ X240 but kinda hesitated after watching your video. I’m 3D artist who do 3D models for games. What will you recommend to me who don’t have a high budget? I’m looking at Armaggeddon 24" XSC24HD and Philips 24” 242M8 as well but couldn’t find constructive reviews about it.
Would u still recommend if someone have about $150 budget to buy Prism+ monitor and dont really care about pro work monitors as long it gave decent enough editing and gaming experience? Cuz I dont want to spend $250 for a monitor but want a decent enough. If not, any video you have that recommend such monitor? Perhaps I can opt to buy that one instead after my current Prism+ W270v go kaput~
You got my support! Honest, unbiased review indeed. Being an ex-Prism+ user myself, I have to agree with you that the back-lighting and bleeding are 2 elements I could not get my eyes to agree with after a couple of weeks with it. I have also parted ways and got myself a Samsung one in the end, something that I definitely checked out before buying, which I did for Prism+. Thus, it is important, sometimes, to experience it yourself regardless of the number of reviews you have read or watched. This is the surest way to minimize pain and agony when you find out the product you buy because of its marketing did not rise up to your expectations. Keep up with the great work and reviews! You have taught me stuff through your videos and I appreciate that! Clicked LIKE in support as well! :)
So should you buy a PRISM? If ur on a hyper tight budget, its a pretty decent choice. But having had a taste of higher end stuff, man, spending 150 more on my ACER XB253Q GW is not something im close to regretting. And remember to add a stand's price into the equation
I recently chance upon your videos. I love it that you are very honest and you even bother to create a new video to clarify your message! good job! keep on going! liked and subscribed!
Great job bro on prism review part II ! I've sold my prism monitor man. Hope to c more sim Lim videos ! Can review the Korean food at sim lim food court too ? It's delicious man!
@@ZXTech TBH, there is nothing wrong with u review. Its a transparent & technical review after u removed the marketing layer and they shd take this feedback to improve. We all will definitely support Prism+ and I really did.
Just came across your channel, very gd points made in this video. I think for a product reviewer, as long as you keep providing genuine reviews, viewers can tell and trust you over time
Hi there, liking your content so far. Was hoping you could help me with this. One thing I don't quite understand about Prism is how they claim that they have AMD freesync. AMD's Radeon software is unable to detect whether my old Prism monitor had freesync support or not - or do I just not understand how Freesync works?
@@ZXTech imo in future if you are being product sponsored, I hope you'd put a permanent notice on the video somewhere to denote that it's a sponsored product along with the disclaimer on the description.
It should all depend on what games you're playing. CSGO, Apex, Rocket League, Forza? I'd get the 1080p 240hz. Dota, World of Warcraft, Civilization, Terraria? I'd get the 1440p 144Hz. Do you do school/office work? An wide/ultrawide might give you an orgasm with all the screen real estate. Bottomline, ask yourself what you're using the monitor for.
@@PaulChristianMedina well number 1 dont look at gaming monitors because you cant have your cake and eat it. I think the Huawei Mateview im checking out right now has potential, but the full review will be coming
Still valid as of time of post, but for other series. Price wise is cheap, but quality is rather doubtful. Would really advice for those, even on tight budget but have OCD, just spend the extra $100+ for a better quality built monitor.
Out of curiosity i went to check if Prism+ still has any monitors currently with the 'Pro' label in its name and they currently have W240 Pro and W270 Pro, both slightly costlier than their 'non Pro' counterparts, so whatever it is they're doing with their naming scheme, they're still doing it. Then again the F270i Pro is listed under 'gaming' while the W240 and W270 are listed under 'productivity' so end of the day no idea what the 'Pro' even really means.
Keep it up bro, sick with how they just promote their products by sticking some pretty influencer on the front without any other explanation as to why we should pick their products over other brands.
Longer, in depth video is always better. Tech is not cheap, so why the need to rush into a summary? You can always skip the lengthy parts, but you can't ask questions to an incomplete video. Also, if some of these viewers still do not understand your content and the message after you being "repetitive and ranty", then the problem doesn't really lie with you, innit?
i wish to start stuff on tech like you bro, but i don't speak well. do you need more kaki to help around while reviewing?? open for employment here hahahaha
bro i hav bought many f270i pro for friends clients since they first launched it. at least 3 of them used different panels. some come with gsync some dont. your point on odm is useless when they change it all the time. would only recommend this model only if u can get it to below 400sgd(with vouchers its easy) on lazada. its late 2021 and there are multiple other models from gigabyte/msi/aoc thats better at the sub 500sgd price.
I don't see the problem with a long review when you went in-depth, it's not like you dragged out a simple point. I also don't understand why people would criticise you for pointing out flaws or just red flags in a product. Buyer's remorse?
I like the things you point out and opinions made, they are pretty clear and useful, but too much video editing to make the video smooth for audience to listen with ease. Maybe should prepare better before shooting so less editing is needed. Hope to see more videos from you.
PRISM needs to learn to STOP misrepresenting and overhyping their products. The values of their so called "PRO" monitors are pricey and with the same cost you could get a decent LG monitor which can both do GAMING + DESIGN (colour precise) WORK. so thats that. Recommend buyers to put their money elsewhere. VALUE FOR MONEY, in these times....
Same with low to mid level android devices with PROs on their names even though there is nothing PRO about it. 😅 Once I was also prism user until a single ant was able to get in the screen for some reason, asked them for help since it is still under warranty but to my surprise they can’t help me about it. Just bought DELL monitors instead even though much ex than prism but totally worth the price and quality of display
