Revisiting the charming city of Skien in Norway

We are revisiting the beautiful city of Skien. We lived in Skien for 3 1/2 years and we just miss the city so much. There’s no other place in Norway except for Grenland, where we enjoy shopping the most. When we are out to hunt for some good deal sports outfit and casual wear, Grenland is always our destination. Grenland is the district composed of the municipalities of Skien, Porsgrunn, Siljan and Bamble. By the way, Skien-Porsgrunn is considered to be the 7th largest urban area in Norway according to statistics.
There are many attractions Skien has to offer but in this video we weren’t able to show much. Just the Sentrum, Skien church and Brekkeparken. We have other videos of Skien taken in the past. You might want to check them out.

A very nice city !! I liked the driving and aerial footage. ( Yay !! You used the drone !! ) Interesting architecture here. That park was beautiful, the rowboat in the empty pond looked kind of surreal. So many nice things in this video, I really enjoyed it. Big thumbs up and best wishes my friends :)

Thank you so much for support! 👍❣️ we used to live in the city. It’s not the most beautiful, just beautiful in our hearts. We stayed here for 3 1/2 years and moved 4 years ago to a different location where we now live

The reason I think it IS beautiful is because here in much of Canada, most of the architecture is all the same, especially in the residential areas. All the houses look the same, there lacks any kind of character that I see in places like Skien. :)

This place Skien is so magical.. love the ground covered with snow., I have learnt lot today on how to pronounce the name correctly., builidng looks so gorgeous. Big thumbs up for this., anyway your camera catch my attention that’s really handy for traveling.

Selv om jeg bodde mine første 40 år i Norge (Rælingen, Oslo, Rygge), så har jeg aldri vært i Skien. Har kjørt mange ganger forbi, men stoppet aldri. Har hørt at Skien er en vakker by med mange gamle hus/byggninger. Big like38.

Hey what a nice job with all the different camerashots from the car, povshots, drone, maps in between. Really well put together. Good that Norway is now slowly starting with the masks also. (over here it's now also inside the stores and a maximum of 4ppl per store can be inside, oh and only the essential stores are open). Beautiful chruch also:)

I support wearing mask 100% but in certain areas in the world, like in Scandinavia, masks have faced a lot of opposition especially at the start of this pandemic

It´s not like that. Your reply counts as another comment. If you have 100 views and you got 50 comments and replied once to each of those 50 comments, then you will have a total of 100 comments. But if others engage in the comments and interact with each other, there could even be more comments than the views itself.
