From Germany, by way of the North American importer Blue Line Solutions, comes the .22 caliber Diana 460 Magnum, aka the RWS 460 Magnum. The 460 Magnum has been around for a while. I think it was first released somewhere around 2007. It is a spring powered, under-lever cocked, pellet pusher made with all the latest refinements by Diana in their German factory.
Diana airguns are divided into two product lines, the Action line and the Performance line. The Action line airguns are made, to Diana’s specifications, elsewhere and then distributed out to the world. The Performance line, including the 460 Magnum reviewed here, are made in-house by Diana’s team. The quality of the materials and the attention to detail is clear!
I've had some time to work with this underlever springer, and in this video I'll show you what I've found that works for her. She definitely plays favorites with pellets, and I found some useful landmarks that make getting the hold the same every time easier to achieve.
I've also topped her with a 3-13x44 Mini Swat scope from UTG, a good compliment to this rifle in terms of size, weight, price and performance.
If you haven't seen the Box to Bench on this one, I recommend you watch that video first. Here's the link. • Box to Bench with the ...
In this video we review chronograph results with the JSB Hades pellet and take a look at 5-shot groups at 31 yards. You'll see me take (and then discuss) a bad shot. One rule of the channel is that we show the groups we shoot, as is, and neither cherry pick groups nor re-shoot when something imperfect happens. I don't have time for multiple takes, and I think it creates an unrealistic impression of an airgun.
This video was recorded on a private indoor range with all relevant safety precautions being observed. No firearms appear in this video.
