If anyone is having trouble with performance in Revit, try changing the view style of all your views to hidden line. I was doing an interior project using the new style of view Texture and that made my project so much slow that was impossible to do anything. I tried almost everything to fix it but what really worked was this. So I probably will activate the texture style of view just when I plot my project and then change it back
I really need some help here man, every time is used the steel tools like bolt the revit turn unresponsive. I tried several versions from 2022 to 2025 still the same. And when i open the connection settings, there's no steel connections available even if i already installed advance steel. Very frustrating.
With latest update I noticed I go into a text, and it lags, this did not happen before I think, doesn’t happen all the time, but something is different.
Finally, the advice is to disable everything that has been added in recent years. Revit 2000 could also be reused in this case. And as we can see in the video, even after all these tricks, the project is still lagging behind, even though there is almost nothing in it! It's really a crappy piece of software...
Sir, what will be the limitations of compressing the revit file. For example, if this option has no limitations on its own, then isn't this should be a default option 🤔?
It leads to longer syncs, and users cant work whilst you compact. On large jobs this takes up a lot of time, so we only tend to do compact/rewrites once per week or so.
Not to mention the advices given, there is still a problem when you see that rotating around a simple house, without any texture, without light, without reflection, without effect, without animation, without anything, is so unfluid. Any simple 3d game has a lot more to calculate and runs perfectly well. And is beautiful. Our machines are overpowered, but lag always comes back, even on a blank project by the way, the simple fact of zooming in and out or pan, we can see that it lags, it's not at all pleasant to use. For a software that is 24 years old and so expensive, and which has forced its way into the market, this is a shame. There is no other word.
