i tried this with a "detail item" family, example a horizontal and vertical valve, but doesn't work. better idea for that? (not just rotation cause some things don't need a rotation). Update = it worked after all. THX
Is there a way to limit families that goes into drop down list? e.g. I have a Title Block Where I have multiple Generic Annotation families(Logos, Images, Abstract Schemes), and I need to create dropdown menu just for 1 single family, but instead I get to choose from all generic annotations.
@@BINHE615 I try to use this label parameter to select the lighting fixture in a family, but when I load this family into a host family, I cannot create a way to connect this to a parameter in the host family, so the user can control which lighting fixture is chosen in the project.
Hey there, I'm searching for a method how I can extract the chosen Family change it into a number, so that I can count how many of which are chosen in a Schedule. Any Ideas? Anyway thank you for the helpful video-
@@BINHE615 So I have Charger Cabinet with Charger in it. With the content of the video above I made a selectionbar with 5 families, so you can choose how many charger are in one cabinet. But now I have to somehow count how many charger i have in one. But sadly Revit restricts me to use the Label Parametee in a formula...
