I'm not familiar with your program, but I'm very thankful that I was able to hear your brother, Nathan, speak about his experience at Asbury as a professor/ child of God. In the last several years it's been hard to find people that speak truthfully. His explanations of the presence of God where he works, is beautiful. I'm a high school teacher, and protecting the kids is our joy, so I related to his honesty about getting them back on task, so to speak. And then when he recognized that he needed to release his commitment to the students back to God for this time, it made me smile. Honest, heart felt, truth. Thank you, both. I think this is another example of how God teaches us to trust Him.

Amazing the faithfulness of God.

The move needed to be send out, not cloistered.... where we heard students felt Asbury was their second home and said it was invasive to have outsiders, then the leadership segregating ages.....partiality that James warns againt....scheduling age groups and limiting times for particular ages....the 120 in the upper room were set ablaze and took it to others. It is an honor to be hosting the Holy Spirit not a burden. Are they not being prepared to spread the gospel to the nations? All ppl should have this available as it is the Holy Spirit who is drawing them not just your loved ones....because they are all God's loved ones. I believe this deeply grieves the Spirit. "Whosoever will let him take of the river of life freely." (Rev 22:17)
I hear what you're saying. Keep in mind, that the body of Christ is made of different giftings and personalities… Some have an emphasis on community, and for a good reason… Others have an emphasis on evangelism, and for good reason. Of course, we are all called to both. But God is not unaware of the community in which He released His Spirit. I wonder how many flocking there have actually consulted the LORD about their role and His heart. ? Seeking Him first and obedience is still vital. Jesus responded to the instructions of the Father. Intimacy, humility and obedience. 💯

Gentlemen! Thank you for your perspective. Awesome! What an event? I do have a couple of questions I wish you could address from your observations in Wilmore. What type of emotional support, counseling, etc is being offered to students who are, or may not be, participating in the revival I services. Also, what type of security and safety procedures are in place on the Asbury campus for students and staff? Are visitors able to interact freely with students on the campus? I appreciate this remarkable event...but am also very concerned about the emotional well being and safety of the Asbury community. Thanks...
My son is a student at Asbury and a member of one of the Worship Teams. The University is very protective and aware of its students and their needs and is providing all needed emotional, spiritual, and physical supports. There is also currently a large security presence around campus to provide physical protection and bags and coats are being searched before people are allowed into the auditorium.

His terrible ordeal; body mutilated; blood poured out, finally died (John 19:30; Luke 23:46 ) and was placed in a tomb and rose from the dead the 3rd day ! "HE IS RISEN" Matthew 28: 6. Hebrews 9:22 BY GOD'S GRACE ALONE THROUGH FAITH ALONE IN JESUS CHRIST ARE WE SAVED Ephesians 2:8 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 not of works, lest any man should boast." Jesus died and paid the penalty for our sins to rescue us from eternal death. He died on our behalf. We believe in Him, trusting His death and shedding His blood as payment for ALL our sins and His burial and resurrection from the dead the third day! John 20:24-31; 1 Corinthians 15: 3-4 above. WHOSOEVER BELIEVES SHALL TESTIFY TO THE TRUTH Romans 10: 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.13 For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” TO DIE IS TO REJECT SALVATION IN JESUS CHRIST AND BE SEPARATE FROM GOD FOREVERMORE Salvation and forgiveness of sins is the blessing of anyone who believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We receive the baptism of God the Holy Spirit immediately which seals us in Christ and that is permanent! Ephesians 1:13-14. Those who reject the free gift of salvation, see John 3:16 above, "perish", which means their sins are judged by God the Son and they suffer eternal separation from God and the family of God forever called the "second death". Revelation 21:8. "Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." Romans 5: 1
God always does a new thing and confounds the plans of men. We should not judge this only looking backwards. Devils will try to disrupt this and the pride of men can spoil things. Sincere prayer and repentance by people everywhere is the key to genuine revival. Zecharariah 4:6 "Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my SPIRIT, saith the LORD of hosts." 10 ..."For who hath despised the day of small things?..."

@@DennisMerwood-xk8wp Jesus taught that God established prayer and answers prayer. He revealed that he desires mankind to "know him" and he interacts with mankind accordng to what we do. One of his main "plans" is that people be saved from the consequences of their rebellion and sin against him which is why Jesus Christ died on the cross. My comments refer to the fact that God often works in unpredictable ways that keep men from pride in controlling and manipulating spiritual events and outcomes.
