You right, it does move you in a way that doesn't break your heart, but warms the creative soul absolutely .... Hat's off to completing something like this in 6 weeks...
My first impression was exactly what you wanted, but as time went on, i began to see what it required to get that, which then took me on a journey of an even deeper understanding. As a designer/maker, listening to the remarks of others, is often the most difficult part of being that. Making something that is intended to twirk that part of the brain that brings out those remarks is next level chess for sure. Being stubborn, i think, is probably the most important part of creating. Not accepting limitations, which, as we all know, one can argue for, and get, really blows the whole thing open. I can truly see why some of the German engineers might cry. First, to be shamed by the initial thought of my got what have they done with our motor, to the absolute glory of each and every solution as it is revealed. Truly brilliant. Thanks for sharing. I have said this before, the reason I have a love hate relationship with RU-vid is fantastic videos like this, on the one hand I would probably never have known about this bike as its not the type of content that would make mainstream media, but on the other it just won't get promoted by RU-vid the way it deserves. You have built a fantastic bike but also the production level on the film was equally as good, yet RU-vid will continue to promote mindless shite of wannabe celebs adding nothing of value, honestly hit the trending button and see. Great work on both bike and film and thanks for giving me something worth watching.
Thanks for the words of encouragement. We work very hard on the machines, but also equally hard to share them. It often takes a really determined leap of faith to invest in these and comments like yours make it all worth it. Thanks again!
I used to volunteer at the Handbuilt show before it was as large as it is now. It's great to see you guys have turned your brand into something respected and talked about. Hopefully all this virus crap will calm down before the next one.
Definitely a beautiful bike. I appreciate when somebody builds something to strictly be that, beautiful. Something doesn’t always have to be practical or profitable or even functional for that matter, although that is obviously very functional and I’m sure it’s worth a great deal of money. It’s just great when someone makes something simply because they can, create something of beauty for the sake of creating. It’s awesome. Thank you. It’s been nice seeing some more videos from you guys too. I’ve really enjoyed watching the dailies. Just wandering around the shop talking to the guys and letting us see what they get up to around there.
Wow , been a motorcycle nut for over 50 years . Built all kinds of bikes but as Prince once said “ Nothing compares to you “. Great job :-) Happy Trails
Wow! I was going to write something to pay tribute to your achievement and I notice my eyes started to tear up.. I think that may say it all! Humble regards Anders Sweden Designer and mechanical engineer
The Concepts are stunning and captivating. The factory's design not so much. Hopefully the production bike looks better in the flesh than it does in the photos. None the less, still a killer motor.
And there's lots of room left over for the home theater system! Actually, my dad was a designer for Studebaker (the Hawk series, Comet, etc) and he would love this bike!
As a former maintenance fitter/toolmaker with 6 motorcycles I'm hoping to do some customisation on, (when I get back to Oz) I'm immensely inspired by your humble wisdom and common sense... liked/subscribed...
I remember watching the building of this bike prior to the Hand Built MS. You could set the bar low and opt for different materials, use the stock engine management system, amongst other things. But you didn't, you opted for the hard work. Because it pays. This motorcycle is indeed something that could be on a art gallery as a center piece.
You took the dream and magically you made it appear from a thought process to reality the world is a better place because of dreams. Keep dreaming keep building challenge reality with your dreams. Magnificent work boys.
hey lets make a bird cage frame! welder person drops beer and loses his mind ;-) That's a lot of work there and it looks awesome and sound of this engine melts rocks.
Everything from the story, team, idea, design, partnership with BMW, the challenge, the image of the video is absolutely stunning! Respect for everything in this video from Romania. Amazing, speechless! Liked and shared and subscribed, would've done all 3 twice but I can't!
I have always wondered what it would look like if someone fixed a wheel to each end of the Eiffel Tower! From one metal-botherer to another, I say BRAVO! Stay safe during the madness mon ami. Best wishes from an Englishman making armour and mechanical marvels in a French forest... Subscribed. 🇬🇧⚔️
