Those fixing the Third AB anti-tankers’ transport that was broken on the frontline. In this video, we show how the repair base of the brigade’s anti-tank battalion operates.
"Currently, there is an increase in work, and the damages are more serious compared to the Bakhmut direction - the fighters tell. “In the Bakhmut direction, we thought it was hell, but compared to Avdiivka, it was easier. Much easier. There was less repair work then. There were fewer damaged and destroyed vehicles,” - the mechanics of the repair base state."
"To fix damaged vehicles as quickly as possible and return them to the frontline, the repair department works both day and night. But it doesn’t always depend on the skill and promptness of a mechanic - sometimes the process is hindered by the lack of necessary spare parts."
"“Sometimes it’s something small, some kind of sensor, but we have to wait to get it. And sometimes it happens that a vehicle overturns while performing combat missions. Many things are bent. And we restored it in half a day and sent it back,” - the masters tell."
In the repair department, there are three people, but they are assisted by guys who are undergoing rehabilitation after woundings. The department primarily tackles the repair of “Hummers”. Before the beginning of the full-scale war, the mechanics never come across servicing American-made vehicles. However, this didn’t become an obstacle - the department masters swiftly learned to deal with the restoration of military off-road vehicles.
What damages the repair department masters have to fix and how it all happens - watch in the video.
