Almost 54,000 subscribers and only 21 videos. I'd say Ben made a name for Himself on Fabrats. Good job Ben. Not only are you a likeable guy your family ranks right up with you. I wish you all much success.
We all know it was bad lol. But they are brothers they will fight it out at some point Then Ben will be back like nothing happened We all knew he would step out at some point and go solo , sry it happened like this but glad to have both brothers on here working Both families are equally wholesome
@@medievelknevil8716 being a member of a team. And contributing. Isn't coat tail riding. Pay attention.. he's now home more.. and doing things he wants to do...
Ben you’ll definitely be missed on the fab rats channel but glad you’re spending the time with family and teaching the next generation there’s not enough of that these days and it’s desperately needed
Any young lady willing to change the oil and not take herself too serious and can have fun with it is awesome. The view of the mountains over your shoulder while you work on stuff ain’t bad!
Right on! And actually, after ZERO promotion or even indication of Ben starting a channel...let's just say I'm only subscribed to 1 of them, you figure out "which", lol.
@@georgevindo I've seen a video out where the parts store actually got a labelled container called Blinker fluid! The girlfriend was sent in to fetch some and the prank was turned around onto the boyfriend don't know what the contents actually were but image the prank you could pull if you drank from the container called blinker fluid!
@ianmcleod8898 I know a Ford Dealership that has a few on display at the service counter. I got a good laugh with the service lady there. She said when she saw the bottles, she had to get a few to put on display there. I had to get a picture of it.
Watching Matty learn the correct way to do a oil change was interesting in my opinion she did really good . She is such a typical girl afraid to get her hands dirty. I have never seen someone where gloves to do an oil change getting dirty is part of the process. Seeing her freak out over a harmless grasshopper was hilarious to watch. In my opinion your channel is doing really well having the whole family working together is a great thing true traditional old school values
Hey Ben it is great to see we all still get to see yoou do your best work. I also dig that orange mid 60 chevy truck in the back ground of this video. Keep up the awesome content, and hard work!!!
The old school Garage in our town, had a special funnel that would hold four oil cans. Used for getting the last few drops out of the oil can. The last drop oil was the best deal in town.
Hello Ben and family. Always enjoyed your escapes with the Fab Rats and I'm enjoying your family channel. Just a suggestion on working on engine parts. Harbor Freight has an Ultra Sonic cleaner unit that might help resurrect some of you small engine part projects.
I just wanna say you're wife and daughter are adorable they had me Rollin.❤ I'm glad you are ok after hitting that rock. I wasn't so fortunate. The last rock I hit chucked me off and I broke my self.
Ben, it appears daughters car has a RED oil leak . It is a pretty nasty one considering the amount of oil it left on the in the short time it took her to change the engine oil. Keep up the good work, and I'll keep watching.👍👍
Hi..I currently watch Fab Rats. Matt’s Off Road. Trailmater.Robbie’s.Merlin’s Old School Garage and a few more.. these are my favourites.. You guys look like you’re a great and loving family. Ben.. I’m pleased your still still around on RU-vid. I’m 81 years old and I loved doing what you are doing.. back in the day….messing with cars and all that. Wish we had the gear you guys use in my day. It’s like going down memory lane watching watch your show. Keep up the good work . I’m looking forward to seeing more from you and your family. Regards Bill. Sydney Australia.
Thanks B & M when your daughter dropped the wrench 🔧 in the intro I laughed, ran it backed three times till I cried 😂. I teach new scouts the automotive merit badge. They can never be to young learn the skills we share with them. Thanks for the content and the smiles it brings. Your family just put one on this old Scoutmaster today. ❤
I remember my Dad getting me under the '55 Plymouth and showing me how to grease it when I was six years old. It wasn't hard for me to get under it at that time. Good education.
Ben the doughnut operator like the bike and the old chevy is pretty sweet get after it Ben I'll be watching may God bless the cox family they all bring me so many smiles and laughs along the way
Hey Ben! Watched the portion of the clip where you crashed your bike and called your wife to come get you. Not pointing fingers, we've all done it. But at my age, 84, my wife was smart enough to insist that I get rid of my last off road bike before I did some seriously stupid something and hurt myself, which I'm grateful she did. Anyway, be careful! The older we get the less we bounce, and your family needs you in one piece for a lot of years to come!..
I love how you just kept handing her the wrenches she asked for, fully knowing they were the wrong ones. I had a wee chuckle to myself when she asked for a 16. I mean I think I might actually have a 16mm wrench somewhere but I garauntee it's never been used on a bolt.
On your air compressor. Look at how the military stocks things for parts. Back when that AC was active. So was I. That is a sparkplug that is water tight or water proof that was used in the Jeeps.
I had a old 70 something generator gas and the motor was good but we could not find any type of carburetor to work right so we actually put a propane carburetor on it and it still runs today. Propane don’t go bad.
There is NO screaming in Wrenching!!! That was so funny, I love the girls. Thank you for always wearing a helmet, great example why... (sorry, I've done the same, the rib shot is the worst) Great to see you getting the shop up and running with what you have. I can only speak for me but I think that you should film more, vids I love watching all the family life, from the house to the shop and all the kid's in between. Put your editor to work... and your channel will grow and the sponsors will follow... I mean, hey we already loved you from fab rats. This was such a good move Ben and Marie.
So glad I was subbed from the birth of this channel, got a feeling we gonna see somthing special grow from now on. Love tou you all from Truro Cornwall UK
Glad you listened about the helmet! My brother had kind of a similar fall on a bike when he was in his teens and skidded on his arms and chin... it took 20 years for the chin hair to fully grow back, the arm hair took a lot less time to return, but ow! I can still remember him walking back into the camp we were at with his arms held away from his sides - fortunately my dad was a trained first-aider (industrial first aid) and there were several others there with similar training.
I had the same trouble with ethanol fuel. Used what is 93 octane here as it had no ethanol, now one station sells regular ethanol free fuel. Also put shutoffs before the carbs, so before shutting down shut the fuel off and let the carb run dry. The tanks are hard as either you leave ethanol fuel in which ruins the tank or drain the tank for storage and hope it doesn't rust, which is less likely in desert climate.
Yep. I added fuel shutoffs to all my small engines and always close the valve then run the engine until it burns all the gas out of the carb and line if it’s going to sit up any length of time.
I would use a synthetic and then run 10K per oil change. Especially if it's just highway miles and the engine uses a quart per 10K. In addition, add 1-3 oz of seafoam/marvel mystery oil when adding the quart of oil mid oil change interval. The detergent will help clean the moving parts.
It's a good character builder, having too change the oil , and check the fluid levels. Everything will start coming together. Have a good week and count your blessings amen.
Make sure you check the radiators on that side. Very likely you smashed in and banana’d the radiator making that plastic cave in like that. I’ve seen it many many times. Throw some radiator braces to make that never happen again!
Yeah, I learned to NEVER use ethenol gas on small carburated motors. I have non ehenol premium at acouple stations near me. Costs a bit more , but WORTH IT!!
Pretty cool teaching your daughter how to change her oil.and fixing an old relic compressors never die they just need some maintenance. Cool channel to watch be careful with those trails you never know what will pop up. Take care.
I recently had my 14 year old daughter check oil and add washer fluid-- it was about the same. As for the air compressor - had things like that happen my whole life, try to do something and need this and that, . as for the accident-- (we don't mention the accident :-)-- Great parenting!!!!
I have to disagree Ben bikes are boulder magnets . I hope all those knotheads out there payed attention to you brain saver helmet. Happy trails young man and good luck in you new adventure.
They are also used on gas engines used to transfer fuel. As spark resistant. I have used then to fuel our crop dusters . they can be changed out easily . uses a standard 18 MM spark plug. just change the end of the lead!@@Chris_at_Home
