Reviving old notebook HP Compaq nx6110 (Part 1) 

Lol I still have mine but it is the Hp Compaq nc4400 from early 2007. I still love mine, and I use it every day carefully. Not gonna lie, I actually using it without any wear and tears because I just love the simple design. Nice video man, good job :)

Hi! I have the same or very similar HP model, it functions well but it can't contact to the internet anymore? It tries and kind of connects, but it won't connect properly so I can not browse any sites. I was wondering what the problem may be? I tried both with my phones internet and my regular internet connection. Are the connections too modern for it? I have tried both wireless and with wires.

You can still send a FAX with this modem. The Gesundheitsamt is gonna hire you with that one and u will be of massive value for them.

I have the same but I upgraded hard disk to ssd and instal win 7. Btw my have original battery and it can run for hours. I using this pc for microsoft teams because my new laptod can not run it. This laptod is oldest thing in house.

I remember my uncle having a notebook from around that time from HP, but I think it was AMD based... underside looks familiar though. I tried to upgrade that to the maximum allowed but that was not much... Only 3GB RAM was supported, even if you put 4GB into it. And although it has an S-ATA connector, it wouldn't recognize a SSD... So that were so major flaws that my uncle switched to a Windows 10 PC earlier this year (finally!) and Windows XP x64 could finally be put to rest ;)

Hp throws the word "Elite" arround more than they should. I have a elite book with a low end pentium dual core and 1gb of ddr3 memory. It had worse specs than the g6 which was the cheapest laptop avilable at the time. I get that the pro book and elite book are meant for professiinal customers but they shouldnt slap the elite and pro name on subpar laptops.

The old cyrix laptops and the Transmeta systems are quite rare and a cooler items.. Those wyse laptops should also be rare too.. so many get sent to recycling companies Both are a good bet for collectors.. like the old blit terminals .. super rare.. never seem one in real life.
