Life for you will never be boring...just need more time/money/patience to undertake the multitude of projects. Cash-generating jobs may relieve the cash-flow part of life. Interesting to view pieces of farming history revived.

I have used both rocks and bolts in my gas tanks, and strapped them to another tractor wheel and drove them around. Really cleans tanks up nice.

Ross I feel your pain. Been in the same boat. I bought a CA at an auction that I tried before hand to turn over. It seemed stuck, but the owner swore "it ran 2 weeks ago" I finally got it freed up. I also have a C that stuck sitting in the shed, it's loose now. And my daughter bought a B low rider project that "was running" it's stuck also. Must be something with the 125 engine?? But anyway, I use a 50/50 mix of acetone and automatic trans fluid. Idk if it's any better than anything off the shelf or not, but seems to eventually work. Good luck, and I hope it is your family heirloom you have! I have one of those, and it'll never leave as long as I'm alive! I wish I could find a few more that did get away, I'm looking all the time!

Dang, I hated having to take those pickers off and then put them back on when the engine needed major repairs.

The issue can be that the longer you wait even the new parts can rust. Too many irons in the fire, always a problem.

I just acquired a 1953 Oliver 77. Before I even get started on it I need to find a rear wheel for it, it's completely rotted out. Should be fun trying to find one here in Florida-nope. I already know I'll be taking a road trip to get one. Anyone have one they want to sell?

Hopefully I keep this project moving. I know I’m missing some stuff with the picker but if I can just get it mounted on the tractor that’ll be a good start.

😂😂😂, you crack me up. You make it sound like you never get anything done, hahahaha. You are always tinkering with something and making headway on something, lol. I have the same problem, so many projects and very little time, 😂. Pull it out, overhaul it so it has new rings and bearings. You will be happier that way, lol. See you later.

I had a # 4 picker on an HP 70 for a few years before we got the corn head on the combine. the picker was in the old shed at the home place. Over the years it got pushed outside and basically destroyed. Still have the tractor, wish I still had the picker.

I had one slightly stuck once and put the juice that is a mystery in the cylinders. Then I jacked up the back and put it on a set of car ramps. In first gear sitting on the downslope of the ramps. Came out one morning and it was sitting at the bottom of the ramps.

This is probably the worst thing to do. But I have had luck with throwing a handful or 2 of sand blasting sand into the tank and putting a pressure washer into the cap and blow that around for a while. Put plugs in the outher ports obviously

I liked the video Ross. Seems we always have to many projects. I know myself, by the time I get to it, it turns out to be a bigger issue than if I had gotten to it when I said i would. But that is just how things go with me. Good luck with the old 77. Lots of history with the ole gal.
