Thank you, thank you, thank you. Been playing with this mod for as for a really long time its almost unplayable for me without it. may the gamer gods grant you all the loot in the future
in my custom ini there are no spaces around "=" and i thing the mod works only partialy because i can use ctrl filtrering in pipboy but i dont see stuff like [grenade] in front of weapons and also when i ctrl weapons (thrown) its empty even though i have hundreds of granades
Very helpful video! Unfortunately, when I run the patch, I don't get the selection menu. It pauses, spits out some folders, but no BetterPatch.ba2 file. I'm not doing anything differently than you are in the video, so I don't know why mine is behaving differently.
That's really strange, I'm not at my computer right now, but give me a little and I'll see if I can figure something out. In the mean time, you could try running the patcher as administrator?
@@MustBeLux Yeah, I thought it that, and unfortunately, it doesn't work either. It displays a window with the following: Could Not Find C:\Windows\System32\BetterPatch.ba2 Could Not Find C:\Windows\System32\Patch.patch "bin\7za.exe" was not found! did you extract the BetterAutoPatch zip file? did your antivirus flag the file? was the zip corrupted? in any case, an error occurred that cannot be fixed Press any key to continue . . . I should also mention another difference. When I run it the first time, it's blocked by Windows Defender and I have to tell it to run anyway. Not sure if you ran into that before making the video.
@@bluejazz04 Yeah windows defender warned me not to run untrusted files or something like that I put a link in the description with a link to a copy of my patched ba2 file, see if that works?
Game starts on black screen and then crashes.. even if I unload mods in QC. I don't understand, Guess I uninstall everything including game now? feeling like giving up on trying to enjoy this game. The only mod I want is the inventory and it's the only one that seems to be a nightmare. Bethesda sucks...
I haven't played fallout76 in a few days so its possible a new update broke the mod, but the symptoms you describe sound like the unpatched mod. Make sure you only have the patched mod installed, you do not need the unpatched mod in your game files. The patched mod is stand alone.
@@MustBeLux No I actually, even deleted that file and the custum.ini file. but my chat mod and perk mod is still being loaded even without it. I uninstalled the game and doing a fresh install. Edit: Fresh install with only this mod installed, and it's not loading. no crashes though
