My favorite part of this project is that Yanhong used recycled soda cans to make the six-dragons and three-phoenixes coronet, very innovative and eco-friendly.

These are not designs, is restore. The traditional clothing of ethnic Han, ethnic Mongolia and many other ethnics in China were lost for almost three hundreds years, because of the cruel policy of Qing Dynasty on early age. On the start age of Qing Dynasty (created by ethnic Manchu), the ruler force many ethnics(especially the majority ethnic Han) to change their traditional clothing to Manchu clothing. In recent years, our Han people make great effort to revive our traditional clothing. In east Asia, japanese and korean traditional clothing are all influenced deeply by Han's traditional clothing, but Japan and Korea are lucky, they inherit.
For me personally, I like each of our amazing six dynasties of our Chinese historical civilization. I'm a Chinese even born at Indonesia & I'm proud with this historical based art production. Except the T'ang one as I see it needs more improvement to fix it's awkwardness. For me the qin & han is really elegant & regal in such minimalist way that made me impressed since first eyes. The song is amazing too for its crown, so do for the ming. The last one is manchuria & it's also impressive not because it's based on huafei character in zhen huan legend TV series as I also watched it once since years ago, but also for it's ingenious design. It's the same way u made that Manchu dalachi headwear prior before the huafei's one. I'd already followed & watched ur content. I'm very satisfied to learn so much from ur works.
Yup I think it'd be better if they used the dianzi they made inspired from Ruyi. But maybe the costumes didn't match (they said they altered the qing clothes several times). Also, could be because of the set, Ruyi had a dark aesthetic and this set was much lighter and sunny.
I've watched this no joke ten times since it was first recommended to me in feed. I cannot stop watching the styling at the start/end. I hope there is more footage! I can't get enough. The costume/accessory, the model, the background, the camera work, the styling of the filming... it's soo good.

Thank you for revive Chinese traditional costumes that had been lost, the only one left/ still wear perhaps the simple "chi pao". Chinese are so lucky has one of the most rich culture & artistic history in this earth, yet lost most of it.
I hope y'all do a photoshoot with the dianzi you made inspired from Ruyi's royal love. That piece is magnificent and I'd very much like to see Duoduo wear it 😃
wow i'm very impressed. could you make one from the zhou dynasty? it's hard to find information on all the various costumes from the different dynasties in English (or i'm just bad at googling) but would love to see the costumes from the Zhou dynasty plus it's headdress if available. I won't be able to give any references as I'm not too sure which is which myself. Would love to see more of your content!
