It does sound better but the revolution max just is not my cup of tea...a harley needs to sound like a galloping horse...kinda why I'm thinking about getting ahold of Kevin Baxter in windor GA to do bullet proof skunk works package on my m8 after factory warranty is done
The stock muffler is so bad. I've heard groms sound more aggressive then this 1250. That being said though I optioned for the SE Street Cannons, but these TBRs at least from the video sound like they might be even deeper and louder for a cheaper purchase. I'd love to see a side x side comparison of the two.
I met Eric out at Forgotten Angles compound. We had our Black Pannies side by side. Mine took a shIt and is still at Bert's Barracuda. Turns out the the Starter solenoid was the issue I was told. Just under 10k mile on it but it rarely started 1st time so,, Great vid Blockhead. I'm Going to do the Vance & Hines if you need a volunteer Blockhead. Reece knows who I am. ✌
I’m happy to see HD reintroducing and enhancing the Revolution engine. Having a VROD muscle myself, I really want this power plant out into a touring model, like the road king. Awesome content as always Blockhead 👏🏻
I really wish i could bring myself to like the new sportsters or panamerica.. They just don't do anything for me. But I'm glad there's people who do enjoy them.
Soo? Has Two Bros. Racing corrected the sound on the new sportster S? You guys never said what the hp or torque gains were for the pan America with TBR muffler.
Shoutout to BaggerBro for the great taste in cutlery! The Kershaw Knockout is an all time hall of famer that is unfortunately not made anymore. Glad I have 2. Lol
I love the Pan America ! Lots of power it power wheels almost every gear .I can’t wait to Purchase one out of all the bikes I demoed since all the bikes came out in 22 , this was the bike that I love the power the most even the touring ST Did not compare to the Pan America !!
Glad it sounds good on his. Everything iv heard with TBR sounds great so I bought a set of their comp-s slip ons for my 114 street glide. It's stage 1 with a catless fuel moto header. Disappointed. They are wayyyyy quiet
Im a huge fan of TB but I have to say when I heard Vance & Hines slip on this past Daytona Bike Week for the Pan-America in person, I was blown away by the sound. Maybe its the camera distorting the sound, but eh V&H sounded and looked better imo. The TB still sounds good regardless, anything is better then the sewing machine sounds lmao
Hey I'm a disabled veteran that ride's a 2006 electric glide standard, but I need a good set of Exhaust do I go to a new one or do I go dual or just a stock exhaust I need to know what sounds good and what you would put on if it was your bike, and as always I don't have a lot of money to spend. Can you take a little time and get back to me. Thank you, I'm called Soldier.
Wow that actually sounds nice with a proper exhaust, the screamin eagle can sounds like ass as it keeps the breadbox. How's the noise level, I noticed he didn't install a baffle in the can, in my personal experience Two Brothers is LOUD!!!! Also cool to know that the cat isn't in the breadbox so you can still pass emissions if you're in a state that tests
Hey Blockhead I'm 16 and trying to convince my parents to let me ride before I'm 18 but my mom is firmly against bikes my dad rides but he won't go against my mom on this. Any tips to help convince her to let me ride before I'm 18
Hard to gauge volume on video, there is no baffle in that can. In my personal experience TBR exhausts are LOUD, and painfully loud without a baffle. I run the P1X baffle on the TBR can on my bike, which is their quietest baffle and it's still borderline on annoyingly loud. Great sound though. It is possible the cat is taking some of the edge off the noise level on the Pan America
Does your motor feel and sound like a box of rocks being shook? Mine sounds and feels like I’m playing yatzee with the damn cylinders. Not sure why. I can feel it cruising on the highway mostly. It’s not a smooth engine. That or mine is messed up. It’s had non stop warranty issues. I’ve had mine for over a year and only have 2k miles on it because it’s literally in the shop that much. Keep in mind it’s my only vehicle.
I literally owned a pan america and put 8200 miles on it and about 6500 was worth that TBR exhaust it sounded good but that shit sounding engine would drownd it out mostly lol it also gets deeper as you use it after a few K
He said you wont affect the tune because you have the cat still..lmao he literally deleted it in the install video. The crackle and pop is cause it needs to be tuned.
Yeah the single crank pin air cooled engine is the best sounding v-twin ever created. Buell was able to get 70 or maybe 90 horsepower out of the air cooled single crank pin engine. I wonder if they could make a liquid cooled, short stroke version of the single crank pin motor, so it retains the heavy lope?
@@Ritalie Buell? My Harley has close to 130HP and about 130 torque and it's not a Buell. It's a friendly motor that is happy in traffic or on the interstate. Liquid cooled? For what? Short stroke? For what? The original design is really an agricultural stationary engine, not meant to drive a vehicle, more like meant to drive a water pump, but it did drive a vehicle for a very long time. The last of them was the Evo. The Twin Cam does not even sound like a Harley. But I am one of those guys that can tell a flathead from a knucklehead from a panhead from a shovelhead from an evo just by hearing it. I just laugh when someone puts louder mufflers on their import v twin and says it sounds like a Harley. A Harley does not really sound like a Harley anymore. But, times change. Thankfully I was around long enough before the changes started and will be gone before the old bikes and parts run out. There is just something so much more organic about listening to a motor and tuning it with a screwdriver...which is funny because organic is such a buzz word these days used by people that wouldn't know organic if it bit them in the ass. LOL!
