I honestly have not noticed anything. Maybe I have missed it when I experienced it. Not sure. But honestly have not seen aim assist seem to be the reason I was killed. At least I don’t think so.
I also really messed with it a ton. Like I messed with my controller just to see how extreme I could make it. Also, different guns give you different pulls. If you watch the controller update from Hunt Dev he says that in the video. When I have the aim assist on it's like a magnet. I could not for the life of me hit headshots like I was used to. As soon as I turned it off I was like "Wow, I was getting that much pull." Even my buddy I play with a lot. He was just saying how much pull he gets.
Two nights ago, I was fighting between Darrow and Alice. I was using a nitro and I was tracking some one in the corn field. He disappeared in the corn so ADS while moving to my right and gun pulled in the opposite direction so I just fired and killed him. 100% aim assist kill, could not see him.
I was tracing people through houses between Plantation and Heritage Pork. I saw the person and as I tracked them my gun would bounce or pull to them. I like this game because of the skill of how you used to aim. Now it's either they are running aim assist or they are MMR dropping.
@@Shadow_of_Gaming I hate the MMR on this game. I am a decent player, no more. I get 2/3 kill games fairly regularly a 4 kill game prob every couple of weeks. Yet 40% of my deaths are too 100/100’s with 5000+ hours of time in the game. I am like ‘I should not be with these people all the time’ it genuinely ruins the experience for me. I don’t mind dying at all, but with regards to a game with high skill and knowledge level nothing can replace pure time playing the game. So having me with 400-500 hours against these 100/100’s does not feel fair
So, I've been working on a video about this MMR issue. It has gotten worse since the Road Map. There is a huge reason why. I am hoping to have the video done for next week. I work 40 hours a week and a family so it takes some time for me to get these videos ready. I am not the best player but feel like no one in the console community is really pushing the envelope for us. Just like the next-generation console update. We got a road map and that's all they talked about. Like, give us something.
You are refering to that software people used for newly released game for PC called "Finalls" ? About translating mouse and keyboard input as controller? And thus fooling game that u are actually using controller, hence enabling use of aim assist. Stop me if i am wrong... Anyway informative video, even though i prefere mouse and keyboard. Peace brother Hunter
I am playing on the console version of Hunt: Showdown. I am not referring to the game The Finals. On the console version where the event: Tide of Desolation & Controller Update 1.15 was released at the same time. Which was an absolute mistake. If you are making a controller change don't do it during an event. This should have been done after the event, not during a new event. Everything I did was just with the controller and the new settings on the console (PS5). There are things that you can buy that can do that on the console. But in my opinion, if you are cheating in a game, you are cheating in real life in some way shape or form. Just last week was an announcement that Sony did make a software update that is now blocking the use of Cronus. I did not realize how bad this device is. Which I am happy that this is happening. The main reason I made this video is to help PC players and warn them that if this comes to the PC version it is bad for the game. To me, the setting with the new Aim Assist reminds me of Call of Duty. I do state this in my video. I think for Hunt this is a bad move. I like Hunt because it’s a very skill-based game. I think that is why I am still playing this game for as long as I have. I like the challenge to get better. I think the people who are still playing this on PC and trying this controller setting would agree that this needs to go away and not come to PC. I would even say that the new controller settings need to revert on the console and not give us the option to mess with it as much as we can. I am glad you watched the video and enjoyed the information. I hope you continue to enjoy playing Hunt: Showdown like I do and have fun in the Bayou.
@@Shadow_of_Gamingidk what you did to manipulate the aim assist but mine damn near has no pull still. I really like this game and I’m trying to get into it but I would say I have top tier aiming in other fps. Even without aim assist I’ve tested it. I can’t hit moving targets at all in this game. Yeah I know bullet velocity is a big learning curve but even with the update this game feels so clunky on controller. I’m looking for tips to get better
@@lainedavis7116 I am working on a video now showing what I am talking about. I had in a match that I turned it back on. You have to really play with all the aim assist inputs and use certain weapons.
@@lainedavis7116 as getting better aim and getting hits. My biggest issue when I started was finding a gun that I liked and would work for me. So for me I like using the LeMat pistol with the Caldwell Rival. It just felt good. It took me months to figure it out. Also are you on PS5 or Xbox? Hope you say PS.
@@Shadow_of_Gaming I’m on Xbox lol. The only guns I’m good with are the Springfield marksman but I’m trying to find something I like that wall bangs…. And the chain pistol with fanning/fmj. I think it will feel a lot better on console for me once we get the unreal engine 5 update
