Footage released in May 1994 of Sierra Leonean guerrillas of the rebel Revolutionary United Front (RUF) in a training camp at an undisclosed location. They are seen been praying, chanting and conducting drills.
The RUF's leader, Foday Sankoh, is seen leading the chanting.

Did the young man have a bird on his rifle about 1:40 in? I swear it was a live bird? I just watched the mercenary video and then this...I dont know much about this situation. It looks about as sad as sad can be. People with nothing. You give them a gun and they can become something. That is a hard battle to win.

I was just about to post that...it looks like a mourning dove lol. But yeah, you get a generation of young men with no future, give them a rifle and a purpose, and you have a devoted army. Just like the old African proverb says "Children who are not embraced by their village will burn it down just to feel the heat." In fact, I feel that is precisely what is happening to young men in the West today.
