Thanks Tara, now I know why my sweet peppers just sat around twiddling their thumbs for weeks after I planted them in March. Next year I'll take my soil's temperature before transplanting.
Hi Terry, yeah it's actually a pretty common thing for people to plant peppers at the same time as tomatoes. But there are so many differences. Hope your peppers catch up and do well!
