I've been trying out RevolutionRace's Explor 30L Backpack and here's my honest review after several weeks of use. This is not a sponsored video. It's a quirky backpack, but I like it so far!

I'm only 2 minutes into the video and I can already tell it's a solid reviewer. Great job! Maybe it's the accent.

Did you settle on getting one of these in the end of did you try something else? Would love to hear feedback on what you ended up getting.

Hi! The water bladders tube goes into the right hand shoulder strap, coming thru a small opening on the inside. That is also, where the mouth piece goes and is gonna be hidden from the elements, guarded by a zipper.

Heya, I still prefer to route it through the top like I mentioned - but I'm in the UK so guarding my water pipe from the elements is not a concern that I have - it just doesn't get that cold here.

Hello! Would it be ok for me if I am 194 cm tall?

Thanks for the review! This looks like a nice backpack, it surprises me there are only 2 reviews on RU-vid.. Did you try the long side laptop compartment? I wonder if there is a "false bottom" for the laptop not to hit the concrete when the bag is placed on the ground. Thanks again and all the best ✨
@AscendMountains
@AscendMountains Год назад
I'm usually carrying these packs on hikes so I'm much more likely to use that compartment for a water bladder - or quite often I use it for my map since I'll be primarily using the GPS but it's always handy to have a map available. Using the side zip makes getting in to the compartment much easier - but it's not padded for the most part, other than the light padding on the back. So I'd not really consider it a laptop compartment at all - although it would fit one.

Next month flying over to Asia, so gona travel Cambodia, Vietnam, Laos at least 3 months. Most of journey we gona ttavel by scooter me and my wide, so need something not so big. Have alredy Alp Trainer 25ltr , all clothes which take to Asia are fit to this 25ltr, but i would have sonething little bigger than 25ltr so what you guys think about this RVRC 30 ltr? No electronics stuff, just clothes , and another thing i would also have the backpack which fits as a cabin bag to avoid extra cost in airlines..

Thanks. Nice, detailed review. Did you consider any other packs before you bought this one?

Honestly nothing particularly stood out to me before I tried this one, so many packs on the market all look the same - at least this one is a little different!

The zipper doesn't go down all the way it's the best remember you might need to put the backpack on the wet floor ....so that's alright with me

Looks nice. Zippers are lockable? Looking for a carry on pack.
@AscendMountains
@AscendMountains Год назад
They're not designed to be locked; so they don't have a loop specifically added to let you put a padlock through it

every now and again, i hear east yorkshire in your accent. Hull. Have you lived in some different places? Where are you from? love the video
@AscendMountains
@AscendMountains 11 месяцев назад
I've lived everywhere from Preston to Cardiff and from Middlesbrough to Flitwick - but I've never lived in East Yorkshire and I've never lived any closer to Hull than York!
@floatingtangerine

ahhhh... then it's middlesborough, because that accent has many similar sounds and shapes to the hull accent.@@AscendMountains

does it have a laptop compartment? it says it should have that on their website, but I havent seen any videos or pictures showing it.
@tozil
@tozil 4 месяца назад
if you havent bought it yet, "almost" is the answer. it does have a seperator (like a pocket youd have the bladder in), and it does have a seperate access from the side aswell. and no real padding
@marxthe.2651
@marxthe.2651 4 месяца назад
@@tozil Thanks, I did buy it and I love it. The side pocket for the laptop makes it so convenient for security at the airport, because you can just slide it out and in the bag again without having to unpack anything! :)

I bought the backpack last week, I'm curious how it is.
@AscendMountains
@AscendMountains 2 года назад
I've been used it on my last three hikes and I still really like it. The top area is still an odd design decision but it's a great place to keep your hat, gloves, and buff. I still like that it's lighter weight than my previous pack (The Rush 24 I also reviewed) which still being comfortable. Let me know how you like yours once you've had chance to try it out!
