This is the second reading theater in the Shōjo☆Kageki Revue Starlight Re LIVE Reading Theater series, taking place in December 2022.
There are 4 performance sessions: Dec 03 Daytime, Dec 03 Evening, Dec 04 Daytime, Dec 04 Evening.

Synopsis (from Revue Starlight Wiki):
Karen found a script in the script storage room, titled "Requiem ~Session of Reminiscence~".
The script, which has absolutely no record of being performed, was written by a Seisho Music Academy alumnus. It is the story of a certain high school orchestra club. Touched by the author's thoughts imbued in the script, Karen decides to perform it at a regularly held recital.

I wasn’t expecting to like this as much as I did. Somehow, the "simplicity" of the production makes it feel very intimate, it takes you quietly but with confidence into their world. And the need to imagine the scenarios seems even more immersive than actually having lots of props and stuff moving around, not to mention that having them "just read" instead of the more elaborated performances we / they are used to, allows them to focus in the one thing they are doing. It’s like playing a game on easy mode, but with the same effort and passion that goes into a harder level. Many thanks for the subs.!

Yeah, just by listening to their voice acting, I could already feel all their emotions. Then, *SPOILER ALERT* * * * Then, when they cried, their voice pierced directly to the brain. I agree with you that it's the simplicity that makes we focus on the characters more than their actresses.
