Both channels (and modes) sound awesome to me, the differences are pretty subtle and may be more apparent to you as the player. I continue to marvel at your vibrato! (And your playing in general.)

I have only played a couple of combo amps during my life. No experience at all with separate cabs and amps, except for my home audio system which is a different type of beast.. Should be interesting. However, I have yet to explore everything that I have. It is just unreal what all is available and what can be done with it. Great job, REVV !!! I do believe you have awesome equipment!

So crunchy. Love my Revv G3 Pedal

I have the purple pedal, and assuming it's faithful to the amp channel, it has a nice midrange 'point' that helps it to cut through a mix, and it's very smooth. The red sounds more scoopy and better for rhythm.

It almost sounds like purple is a bit more SLO , brighter tighter , the Red Bogner XTC smoother thicker although with the bright switch cut switch tone controls I would bet both could be set up to be very close and likely the feel would be the the difference , the purple always by a bit less compressed dryer and the red smoother, more saturated

Hey Shawn. Once again great video and killer playing. Love the gain tones!!! Are these amps hand wired? In terms of quality, how would the Revv Generator 120 MK3 stand up against a Freidman, Bogner, or a Suhr hand wired amp head? I am just concerned about the whole digital side of the amp. i can't tell what the deal is with Revv - it sounds incredible in these clips, yet I see a lot of forum comments about it being sterile, generic, dry, etc....thoughts on real world experience with the 120???

I love everything about this amp but the clean channel. That's a deal breaker for me. The Engl Savage mk2 has a much better clean channel.

Really enjoy the videos you guys are putting out! I'm fairly new to tube amps and very new to Two Notes Torpedo software (Generator 120 MkIII is just my 2nd tube amp). I'm hoping someone can help me with a couple questions: 1) Does the amp have a manual? It is possible that I misplaced it when I finally unboxed mine a week ago. 2) How do you go about establishing your tone when using the Two Notes Torpedo direct into the DAW? Using high quality monitors with a subwoofer or using regular computer speakers? 3) Do you use the stereo output only and always track both at the same time (and double track both channels for 4 guitar tracks)? Basically, I'm wanting to understand the intent of this stereo output in the realm of tracking.

I’m looking very hard a purchasing either a d20 or G20. I’m still not sure which one to get. I would love to see a head to head. G20 no pedals and d20 with all three revv pedals. If there is a video like this please lmk

Unfortunately I can't afford the 120 four channel. And if I had to choose, which I do.... I'd go with the Red or 100R. I can only afford the 100P or R, so I'd go R model. Red can still do rhythm as well. Great stuff. Thanks.
