I interviewed the delightful Tim Curry in 1994 for the movie, "The Shadow." We talked about that film, the advice he received on NOT doing the movie version of "Rocky Horror Picture Show.," as well as how kids react to him, changed endings and more.

His laugh, smile, imitation of the child at seeing him in an airport, Priceless. He also has a very warm personality. He is a treasure.

@@kimquinn7728I love the man so much. I wonder if he knows how many people just adore him. I was dressing in RHPS costumes and the whole deal in the 70s, then my children got to know him in Clue and Home Alone 2. He's honestly a true gem.

Tim Curry is the only actor to properly portray Franknfurter. Every nuance from start to finish in RHPS was epic. Yeah, back in the day, I was one who got all made up and dressed up on Friday nights for the midnight showing for the audience participation while the movie was going on. We had such a great time and fondest memories. Just listening to the first couple notes of the starting song puts the biggest smile on my face. Great times.

David Bedella wasn't too bad and he even in a way reminded me of Tim at times, but I agree that Tim is a unique entity in all roles he performs. There will never be another quite like him.

Tim Curry was considered for the role of Judge Doom in Who Framed Roger Rabbit instead of Christopher Lloyd, but they thought he was too scary, but I personally think he would have done better than Lloyd. Tim Curry was also considered to voice Scar in the Lion King, but he was too busy, but imagine if he just did the singing voice for Scar during the song Be Prepared while Jeremy Irons still did the speaking voice!

Tim Curry is one the best top when it comes to voicing villans in cartoons or animated movies.

He voiced a few Disney Afternoon villains such as Taurus Bulba in Darkwing Duck and the Evil Manta in the Little Mermaid series and for animated movie villains, he voiced Hexxus in FernGully: The Last Rainforest, Drake in the Pebble and the Penguin and Rex Pester in the Rugrats Movie! Tim Curry occasionally voices good guys in cartoons such as Nigel Thornberry.

RHPS is the stupidest movie I’ve ever seen. And I love it still. It’s weird, wacky, campy shit and the talent in it is just so so good. Not just Tim, but all the leads in it. But Tim Curry is just iconic in it and he gives it hell for the whole film. He’s a crazy person and I will always love everything he’s done because I love his commitment to this absurd role in this absurd film. And I hope he’s doing well these days. I know he had a rough spell a while back.

First thing I saw Tim in was 'Blue Money' - where he plays a taxi driver who finds a suitcase of money in his car. Loved his performances through the years and I'm so sorry that his health has deteriorated so drastically ❤😢

Rocky Horror Picture Show without Tim Curry Would not have been the same. It definitely wouldn't have been as Popular or Successful. Although I think it kinda bombed at first and developed a Huge Cult Following Shortly After.

I remember this guy when he played Will Shakespeare back in the UK many moons ago. A series called 'Will'. Since going to America i think he lost it. He sold his soul for money......and cheap beach front property.
