Great video as always! Though I like how unique vanilla remade mod rework is, I prefer infernum's rework due to it capturing the feel of chaos with every time you split the boss in half. Essentially making the bossfight much more intense realistically.
@@FerasLR Yeah, Vanilla Remade Mod is still one of the best and my most favorite. Infernum is cool, despite being a part of the dev team, we still feel like it's one of the weaker rework we have
Thanks for showcasing my mod at 24:28! I'm definitely going to be tweaking and changing the mod as time goes on because my take on the EoW is definitely a bit rushed compared to my other reworks!
The vanilla reworks mod for eater of worlds looks really cool of its gimmicks, example being the arrows pointing the segments like how the destroyer works. The roguelike eow rework is cool however, you can end up soft locking the fight if it ends up too far away and keep going in circles
@@MyraTerrariaOfficial yea, i put a clip on nohit cord in gaming chat of eow constantly doing circles(Aqua explained how it happens), if its far away doing it. Pretty much the run is dead and softlocked
This video is really well put together! The metrics for judging the bosses are sound and the video itself does a good job showcasing a lot of different takes on these bosses. The editing is stellar as well. Def going to watch this series to the end. Also, I REALLY appreciate the music/sprite credits at the start of the boss fights.

Love Forgotten Evils Mod rework, never seen those modded mechanics for pre-hardmode bosses. Why don't you want to do Calamity GFB Legendary Rework Evolution? It's really hard but fun tho

Hell yeah!! Also, your eow is really fun but i think its health could be balanced a bit better. The clingers are way too tanky and the boss itself kinda dies pretty fast but overall really good!
@@MyraTerrariaOfficial Yeah, I'll admit the health looks like it might use some rebalancing, but it is a pretty complicated issue. The diamond staff low-key shreds the boss since it has infinite piercing and the EoW still very nearly enveloped the entire landscape. Maybe I could slow it down in exchange for buffing its health...
It's pretty funny that Calamity, a mod all about worm bosses, has the least interesting Eater of Worlds, but that's fine by me, don't need anything fancy for such an early boss
I find it quite funny and also a little sad how a lot of the older vanilla content (mainly bosses) have been made so trivial and boring due to power scaling. EoW was a boss I remembered really struggling with back in the day due to your limited mobility and piercing options. Given how many items and mechanics have been reworked, it would be cool if Relogic gave the bosses some work as well to help match up.

I need to play terraria again… Honestly I might try the vanilla remade mod as calamity doesn’t satisfy me anymore. Hell, I might even jump to infernum if I want a challenge.

A little dissapointed that GodUniverse wasn't shown, as its EoW fight was one of my favourite modded fights so far (In my playthrough with like 60 mods, even with overleveled gear it was quite fun.)
